Beautiful design and views

First of all I'd like to say I only take time to write reviews if I really loved it, and with Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf this was the case.
I loved the design of the hotel, the stylish interior and the beautiful details like the silver sink and the cute butterflies. <3
There is just a perfect balance between modern minimalism and fine details.
We stayed at a club room on the 17th floor wich had acces to the regency club.
The room itself was small but cosy and had a beautiful view over the lake and the city.
At the regency club breakfast was served and cocktail hour between 6 and 8.
We had a glass of champagne (and beer) as we enjoyed the magnificent views that the regency club offered :)
Small bites were served with the drinks.
We had a grilled vegetable dish at Dox wich was very good! (And healthy at the same time)
And also the desserts were delicious.
The staff at the entire hotel was friendly and helpfull.
Checking in went fast and without issues.
The only thing we didn't like was that the spa facilities were very buisy and that some guest didn't wear swimwear (We personaly found that akward but maybe this is due to we are girls and relatively young)
I'd suggest asking a small fee to enter the facilities and require for all guests to wear swimwear.
Overall I really liked it. This hotel feels fresh and stylish and it is the perfect escape from the 'real world'.

Perfect couple's stay

I had a perfect stay at Hyatt Regency. I was set up in a Club Room with access to the Regency Club. The room was clean, Nice decor. The bathroom was clean, beautiful.
The staff was very helpful.
Breakfast is a Nice selection - Breakfast in the Regency Club is a treat with the amazing Dusseldorf view.
HIGHLY recommended.
A modern hotel on the Rhine

Restaurant is a little eclectic but the location and view can't be beat! My room on the 16th. Floor provided an amazing view of a canal on the Rhine. Cigar lounge also was a big hit for me. Back to the room, it was ultra modern corner suite with heated floors and amenities that exceed expectations.
Comfortable modern hotel

The lovely service began with the check in. The desk were very hospitable, they looked after me and I arrived unexpectedly early and they gave me a room and actually gave me one with a view even though that wasn't included in original booking.
The lobby area was clean and modern, and the rooms were the same. The layout of the room was interesting, you enter into the bathroom with a door for the toilet on one side and the shower on the right. The bedroom was behind the bathroom as you enter with the view from the bed out into the harbour. The shower / bath area was visible from the room but I suppose it didn't matter but if you're a bit particular about this sort of thing then you might want such a room.
I used the gym which had quite modern equipment, I also tried the spa facilities which were nice. The changing rooms were good and had lockers with robes and towels etc.
The breakfast was lovely, good variety of items and quite an array. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast but the service was slow and that could have been because of the weekend but then they should have more staff serving, coffee on both days was slow, first day we didn't even get it and the second day they served us as we were finishing so I'd got up and got myself a Nespresso coffee.
The second day our rooms weren't made up until after 5pm and when they did make them up, they left the dirty cups, they forgot to replace the hand towels or the robes, there were no face towels left, the beds were crumpled and sheets not changed. They didn't stock up with fresh soap or shower wash even though it had finished.
The bar in the evening was very busy but I suppose that is to be expected as it was Japan Day and people were there for the fireworks and it was a Saturday evening.
I've still rated it 5 stars as the service was good and I enjoyed the hotel.

Very good hotel situated in the city by the canal.
Went there for a one day for business purposes.
The room was great, very clean and well maintained, bathroom was amazing and foamy pillows were an added advantage. The breakfast was great!
Only downturn was waiting for the reception to answer my calls but other than that, it is recommended of you are in the city
Tip: try some of the restaurants located next to the hotel. Amazing German experience
