Noisy and defect airco at 35 degrees outside temperature, no escape routes
Jaap Von 19/06/2017 11:21We were placed in a room at the 5th floor of the hotel just under the roof. The airco in the whole hotel was defective exept for the reception area. (?) The heat in the room was unbearable and absolutely no rersponse on my complaint. For this reason we left the windows open and were kept awake all night during noisy people coming from bars and cafe's.There are no fire escape routes, unbeleivable
I left my room at 5 o clock in the morning to get some cool air outside on the street.
All in all, worst hotel experience ever.

Mike Pon 03/04/2017 18:23Great spot for a couple of days. Centrally located to everything. It's only a minute to one of the very nice town squares with many dining options. Close to the old port too.The rooms are small but comfortable. Good price point. Friendly staff very helpful.
Like being in an old French film
Renton2Bon 18/01/2017 15:26We just needed a bed for the night and La Posta Vecchia offered a bit more. The 67 euros room, just under the roof was quite basic but had a little window offering a sublime view of the sea, during a very stormy day.
It was delightful and the whole atmosphere of the hotel reminds some sort of Claude Lellouch film. It's old and slightly decayed but very charming in its own way.
We'll go back if we need a room in Bastia again.
great for walkers
ginnamaon 25/09/2016 19:42Super-nice staff and fabulous location. Near waterfront but no traffic noise. Easy to walk to old citadel, famous churches, markets, etc. Final stop for Corsica hiking and kayaking trip through ROW Adventures Corsica Unbound.
Disappointed
Lamarkyon 30/07/2016 15:45The hotel was ok except for a few things. The shower separator is too small and regardless how hard you try water always floods the floor.
Secondly which was the most disappointing thing for us was, we made a mistake and thought we were leaving on a different day to what we had booked. The guy behind the counter did not tell us of our mistake so we stayed one day less than booked. This resulted us being homeless for one night as the next destination for us were fully booked everywhere.
