Maybe the best Ibis I've experienced so far
Stefan Ton 25/08/2017 16:56An excellent Ibis in the center of Seoul. The quality level is way better than all the Ibis ("normal" or Styles) back in Europe.
(+ good; +/- in between ; - bad)
+ : excellent room, with everything one may need and excellent views of Seoul. Ask for a higher room for a better view!
+ : fantastic terrace with panoramic views of the city (including Busan Tower)
+ : the staff is very helpful, they will help you with everything you need
+ : subway station very close to the hotel
+ : the neighborhood is very lively, you can find lots of restaurants and street food; for the photographers, the street north of the hotel is full of old camera shops, you can find everything!
+/- : breakfast was OK but not something you'll remember
- : nothing!
Excellent stay, excellent location
ianf22on 07/08/2017 09:23Highly recommend this hotel. The location is excellent; very close to the subway, opposite an airport bus stop and in the heart of Myeongdong. We had a junior suite which was worth the extra as it was spacious and comfortable although the bathroom was a standard ibis one. Everyone working at the hotel was friendly and helpful. No complaints at all.
best location in Myeongdong
satoyurikoon 03/08/2017 05:24The hotel is located in a wonderful location - close to Myeongdong and lots of eating places. There is a limousine bus from the airport to Ibis hotel too.
The staff are all English speaking and polite. Service is prompt and good. We even tried the shuttle service to the Palace.
There is handphone charger in the room - so no worries if you forgot yours. There is also ice dispenser and hot/cold water dispenser on every floor- and they thoughtfully provided a water tumbler and ice bucket in the room
Room is clean and toiletries were adequate.
I've enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again.
Everything you need for a reasonable price
llee02on 27/07/2017 00:59Very pleasant stay at this conveniently located Accor property. Room was clean which is my main criteria. It had all essentials for a comfortable stay and good night's sleep. Service was great - efficient and friendly. If I had to pick on the details - property looks dated and could use a little lift. Breakfast was very good but I'd preferred a few more selections. Shopping and restaurants across the road and convenience store around the corner.
Nice place to stay
Eunchan Lon 21/07/2017 01:18I stayed at Ibis Myeongdong during a short trip to Seoul. It's located at the city center and has direct access to one of the largest shopping districts in Seoul. Convenient location and reasonable rate. I would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Seoul.
