Clean and comfortable stay
choobeon 11/06/2017 11:38Quite a modern hotel with excellent facilities and friendly welcoming staff. Clean rooms and whilst fairly basic, were comfortable nonetheless. Fast WiFi. Ideally located just down from the train station. Recommended.
Work trip
Caroline Ton 11/06/2017 11:11Excellent service. Room clean, functional and had everything needed. Bed comfy. Breakfast was good. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Great location by the train station and close to shops & the seafront. Only downside was the noise from the bottle re-cycling outside at 5am. Not the hotels fault but you may want to avoid staying on a Tuesday night if this is a weekly thing as it woke me up.
A tad disappointed!
staceface82on 11/06/2017 10:48I'd like to start by saying the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. A mistake was made using my phone when booking and it made it for the wrong date. I telephoned as soon as I was aware and junior kindly listened to my rant and cries and transferred it onto the correct date meaning I didn't loose my money.
The hotel is situated right in town and about a 10 min walk to seafront. A little noise at night as our room faces the street and night time revealers but was to be expected (although why place family rooms here?).
We were given some chocolates in arrival as they were aware it was our anniversary which was a lovely thing to do.
The rooms were nicely presented and tidy. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable especially for someone who is quite tall like myself. However the single beds were extremely comfortable. The aircon worked a treat too.
My only complaint is this. I explained before we came that my three year old son has leukaemia and could extra care be taken when cleaning the rooms before we arrive. My son had an accident in the night when we had to remove the bed sheet. This is when we noticed dried in blood on the blanket. This wouldn't concern most people as there was a clean sheet on the duvet but my son has a compromised immune system and any little thing scares the life out of me. Considering I explained this before I am very disappointed thy we were not given a different duvet. (I did take pictures).
All in all the stay was pleasant and I would stay at an Ibis again but would stress the importance of cleanliness even more so.

Night out in Brighton

Hotel less that two minutes from Brighton train station., very central.
Staff friendly and professional.
Rooms clean and Modern.
Decided to have breakfast in the morning which was just under £9 for the Buffett.
Food well presented and hot. However size of place they provide is about the same size as. A and bread plate.
Would used again.
