Very very nice

- Very nice hotel, well maintained, clean, with rooms nicely decorated, comfortable and functional. I also liked the overall design of the hotel, especially the restaurant area, which had a cozy and homey feel to it.
- Polite and organized personnel.
- Excellent location, right across the beach and close to the old town.
- A wide selection of breakfast choices (loved it!). I really liked the apple orchard thing, the pies, and the pancakes.
- It was great that they have a very well equipped fitness center, but you have to pay for access (I understand they also keep aerobic classes there). It would be logic to have paid aerobic classes, but I think the fitness area access should have been free.
- The use of cards in the elevator was kind of awkward, but I understand its purpose and I salute it.
- A minus - the paid parking.
As a conclusion, I definitely want to go back!

Located very well, close to the beach, although you need to use stairs, and very close to the main attractions to visit in Constanta: the Sea Front and Casino, Ovidius's Square, Tomis Harbor. It turn to be a friendly place, with nice and clean rooms and good food. Members of the stuff are polite and willing to help.

Our first choice for accommodation - Significant improvement

This was the 4th time we stayed at this hotel which thus far it's been our first choice.
Compared to last year's experience (which we didn't review), this time the room was at an upper floor. The carpet was clean, and brand new, unlike in the past. The room itself was clean, probably newly painted too. Everything was working fine, with one exception: the shower's drain, which, despite the low flow shower, was struggling to deal with the volume of water.
The cleaning person was so friendly, it impressed all of us. Big, big LIKE.
I won't comment on the view, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Food was ok, personnel was friendly. Can't complain about anything, really, as this is a nice, welcoming place, a refuge against the scorching heat of the afternoon, and the stormy, heavy raining of the last day. Will definitely come back.

Location first, its 2 km away from Constanta train station, right across the beach so perfect. 150 meters from old town with has plenty of cafes and restaurants. Rooms are very nice with safe boxes and a small balcony, not all have see view of course. Staff is very polite. Breakfast is good but basic and u can also sit outside to have it. Hotel has also conference rooms and a gym but paying. It could use a small makeover but remember that Hotels are only a sleep over not the reason for holidays. Will go back again.

Best view to the seaside

As I said last year, we returned to Ibis, Constanta especially for its excellent position to the beach and historical center.
Just as last time, we acknowledged the good parts: polite and proactive staff, big room with sea view (I saw the sunrise out of bed), wi-fi and A/C ok, varied breakfast (apple - pie, jams and juices - being the theme).
Unfortunately, less pleasant things remained: small size TV with few channels, and the restaurant menu – not so varied, poor quality food, expensive.
We hope that until next year, when maybe we will be back, these things will be solved.
