Jonas Don 01/07/2017 06:36The hotel has a great location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and large even the bathroom! Breakfast was good, large and tasty. The lounge is cosy but the prices from the menu were high.
Perfect location for city break
Eclectic000on 30/06/2017 19:42Hotel situated in the pedestrianised area right next to the Cathedral. Fantastic location for a short sight seeing break in the town. A short walk from the canal, bars and restaurants. Hotel was clean and has everything you need and very quiet considering the location. Helpful staff. Aircon was especially welcome as summer temperatures unexpectedly hot.
Easy to get to as very close to tram stops from the main train station.
Fantastic location, happy staff
wild55on 27/06/2017 17:36We arrived for a four day holiday in Ghent. Surprisingly quiet room at the front of the building, fantastic view of cathedral. We only had one breakfast in the hotel but it was very good. We had one meal in the restaurant also very tasty. My husband had several mosquito bites (as usual), from our walks outside the hotel. The staff at reception were very helpful with ice packs. Room very clean, bathroom large and modern, with hair dryer. (No kettle in room ) very pleased with room.
Great Location
cassie_lemonson 15/06/2017 23:47Not sure why another reviewer says the hotel is 'very, very difficult to find'. It is right by St Baafs Kathedraal which is a major landmark in the city. As such it is in a great location, and a short walk to the centre of the old town area with lots of shops and cafes and the river. Also walking distance to the castle, or a short tram ride.
Quiet at night, despite central location, but it was early in the season (late April) and the weather wasn't great so maybe not so many people were out and about. The roads are traffic free, trams only allowed, so no traffic noise.
It's a no frills hotel, but the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and well equipped. We ate breakfast out, but had a drink in the bar one evening and found it comfortable with friendly service.
Great value for money for a city centre hotel. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

markop688on 15/06/2017 06:35Really great service / price ratio. Clean room, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, perfect location. The room was very standard, but this is what could be expected for the price. The only complain is that the window was a bit small and the room consequently not so light.
