Central location
John Gon 31/08/2017 10:54The location is the key asset of this hotel with a discount on parking at the train station car park a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast as usual was good and great coffee. The biggest problem is the design and layout of the shower room that required a good clean or replacement. If you can put up with this the hotel is fine.
Station on the doorstep
ddelldellon 22/08/2017 20:48This Ibis is very close to the station, but very quiet. Room was nice & even had a small balcony. Bathroom perfect, bed comfortable & buffet breakfast excellent. Breakfast area doubled up as bar area & had a large TV. Staff were all very friendly, local events were regularly advertised & good selection of leaflets on the area. All in all a nice stay.
Quite Nice But Some Improvements May Help
Stas Son 11/08/2017 14:14Can't get why some other guests were so disappointed; the hotel is good, in a beautiful historical building and pretty part of Metz.
However it is a first & unique (so far) Ibis hotel (especially if it's Ibis Styles) in my experience without a bar and they even have no bucket to keep wine chilled and no wine glasses (as a receptionist told me one day, but I found flute glasses myself in their basement so he agreed to give it to me).
Breakfasts need improvement. And if the windows is open you can get mosquitos, so beware.

Robert Jon 23/06/2017 18:00Overall i was really disapointed with this ibis hotel. Although the room was clean and in reasonable condition the same could not really be said for some of the public areas. There is no parking at this hotel one has to park in a public underground car park st the railway station which is a 5 minute walk away and not easy to find in the one way system aroind the hotel. Not easy carrying all your luggage. It may be ok for a small overnight bag.
This is one Ibis i shall not be returning too.
Very expensive for what you get
Patri_summeron 24/05/2017 22:12Definitively after this stay I can say I do not like Ibis hotels. Good location but small room. Too simple and grey room.
Breakfast not included but I fear I did not missed much.
For a few more euros you can get much more
