Spot on Ibis standards
37svenbon 26/07/2017 09:52Usual great Ibis standard :) parking ok at €12 per day with good access for wheelchairs prams etc. Fresh looking breakfast bar and plenty to chose from to start your day including 'make your own' orange juicer.
Only - point were the fruit flies! Everywhere.. in the room..in the breakfast area...lift ..grrrr but it seems the whole town has this problem! Make sure to take your Venus fly trap with you :0
15 minute ibis promise always works, we had some over excited tourists from the far east making a lot of noise and reception sorted it right away. Thank you !
Keeping it simple
Rudy Aon 21/07/2017 06:59Clean room, firm mattress, clean toilet and bath, friendly front desk staff. It's a small hotel in a good location. Many dining options all around it, downtown is a short 5 minute walk away. What's not to like? A no-frills hotel that pretty much ticks off all the right boxes, My only negative experiences: bathroom is a little tight, breakfast plates and utensils not thoroughly cleaned; found many of them still with residue of the previous diner's meal!

awristonon 27/06/2017 09:59We booked the stay at the Hotel on June 21st for the next day June 22 – 24 and were told the price is Euro 306 ($342) for the 2 nights to which we agreed. After a 12 hour drive with the car to get there, the receptionist could find our reservation and he had no more rooms for that night due to a storm and strike in the City. He also mentioned based on the situation (Strike and Storm) we wouldn’t be able to find any rooms in the city. He called the manager over and after a 5 to 10 surge the manager noticed the Lady booked us on the wrong days (August 22-24) he said he had 2 rooms for us but now we have to $ 225 more .If we had known the price for the 2 nights were that much we would have looked at a different hotel. I feel like being ripped off, because the reason we took this hotel was the price and paying 225 more is almost double from what we had calculated. Based on the situation they should have just given us the rooms for the price we paid and apologize for their mistake. Other than that very clean and nice rooms

Good central hotel with secure parking

Decent sized room, comfy bed free WIFI not sure why people were so critical of the shower room the shower was huge, bigger than most hotels. The room was a bit warm but it was very hot outside so we had a reasonable nights sleep and we were not disturbed by outside noise being on a street facing room. Easy walk to the old town and river. We did not use the restaurant or cafe/bar - plenty of great bars with excellent beer at half the price and twice the atmosphere nearby. Easy access to the motorway. We would certainly stay here again.
