Ideal first or last overnight stop on French trip
C J Lon 26/05/2017 17:55Well placed hotel with a warm welcome from staff. Good value for B&B. If the limited evening food on offer does not appeal then an Auchan retail complex is within a very short walk and has an excellent and wide range of food and drink to suit anyone at its Flunch self-service restaurant. We regularly use this hotel because of its ease of access and location on The Loire providing an overnight stop within comfortable driving distance of the Channel ports when travelling to/from the Atlantic regions of France.

Raymund Eon 01/05/2017 08:11Excellent hotel! I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in St. Nazaire, France. The room is excellent and also with very good service of all the hotel staff. Breakfast is very good. This is definitely one of my best experience in staying in France.
Good for stopover or two nights
Enobarbus3on 26/07/2016 14:24Really helpful reception staff. Nice modern hotel with a pool and campus main area. Rooms are small hence ideal only for stopover or a couple of nights. We came to see the U Boat pens, not sure why you would otherwise come to St Nazaire. It was destroyed in the war so it is modern, a port and pretty ugly. The hotel has good on site parking. Like other Ibis hotels it is near a shopping centre and chain ( basic) restaurants, 5 mins walk. A taxi was maybe 30 euros into town! The reception staff helped us with the busses 1.40 euro one way. Quick, clean efficient, regular and so much better than a taxi! Breakfast was okay, no cooked option and the juicer was interesting! Popular with families with small children so breakfast and the pool area were both very noisy and overrun .
Stop over when travelling through France

Location not great (if your after nice views) as it's in a Retail Park but amazingly still very quiet. Rooms (and hotel) very comfortable and clean - best nights sleep in all the hotels we stayed in made better by air con, black out curtains and queen size bed. Very friendly and helpful staff and pool was an added bonus.
Disapointed
gezb244on 27/05/2016 20:16We arrived and walked straight into a building site, the main counter was missing being rebuilt what a shambles. after checking we made our way to the bar but were informed to have our drink outside as the noise from the hammer drill would interfere with our conversation then to top it all they ran out of draft beer (could not believe it) only bottled beer available (pah) - They need to inform booking guests that building works are being commenced while their stay is happening letting them make alternative arrangements if required. Good point clean room
