Exceeded my expectations!

First time I am writting a review, while I'm still living at the hotel. Because I need to share my impressions :)
The service and people working here are fantastic. Every single person here is so nice, smiling, helping. And all these emotions are natural and real.
Before the visit I've asked by e-mail for higher floor, calm side and the balcony. And we got everything. Great!
The room is spacious, clean, cosy, well equiped. There is a room service twice a day! One - general (fresh towels: a set of 3 for each person; cleaning and etc.). Second - making up the bed in the evening for the night. A pleasant surprise :)
Lovely SPA area. Benefits: towels free of charge, hot tea (different every day), water, relaxing music, wide choise of massages. Swimming pool area has large windows to the mountains! Sauna and Turkish bath - modern, new, relaxing.
Free shutle service to the main lifts: 5 Laghi and Spinale. There is no need to book it in advance. Just come up and go. After skiing we call the hotel and in a few moments the shuttle bus is at place.
Good and heated ski room.
Breakfast is rich: omlette, sausages, boiled eggs, fresh vegetables (tomattoes, cucumbers), cheeses, cold meats, pastries! I would say compliments for the dinner. It is a la carte (you make choises during breakfast) and a buffet style salad bar. Loved it!
Wifi is free of charge. The speed is not for watching movies, but enough for e-mails, social sites and news. Wifi working on the top floor (3) as well :)
100 meters away there is a good pizzeria (and not only) "Antica Focolare".
100 meters to the left (as if you're driving from hotels parking place) there is a normal supermarket.
So, I have not a single bad word to say.
I would like to give an example of a good service. One morning the breakfast room was a little bit crowded and noisy. The same moment guests, who came later, where offered the next morning to order anything they want and to have breakfast in their rooms. Very nice gesture!
The next example: there was a welcome dinner (a set menu). When I didn't touch my portion of carpachio Mrs. Rachel came up and offered me to have something else (fresh or grilled vegetables or etc). Very pleasant gesture. A personal touch.
And it is always here like this: people working here are so attentive to the details! They are always trying to walk an extra mile for you. :)
I am so glad staying here.

Clean and cozy rooms, marvelous location!
There's a ride from the hotel to the lifts, which leaves whenever you ask for it.
The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and kind.
One example is that I drink my coffee with soy milk, which they originally didn't have. But once I asked for it once they got it and remembered it (the entire staff) for the whole week!
Room cleaning is done not once, but TWICE a day (once in the morning and once around dinner time)
One small suggestion is to have the waves pool more warmer (maybe some people prefer it to be just warm, but for me personally it should be as hot as it gets)

I can only recommend! At this hotel we had an amazing time! Not only great skiing nearby, but this family hotel is just fantastic! Great food, friendly people, awesome SPA area.
We had full pension. Breakfast and dinner, both are very rich and for dinner you can choose between 3 meals. It is always starter, main and desert + big salad bar :)

Hi,
We were quite a bunch of people (company trip) and I must say that hotel personnel and owner were super professional. Ski-school, lunches, dinners, special diets, ad-hoc transportation, you name it - everything went smoothly.
Rooms were cosy, not maybe up to most modern standard regarding interior design, but that didn't really matter.
The beds were comfortable, even the sofa-bed was good (not for very tall people though).
I'd like to thank once more everyone at Hotel Ideal for taking such good care of us!

Excellent hotel for skiing holiday!

We stayed for a week. We loved it.
It is a family hotel, and the owners are very friendly, flexible and helpful. The parking is quite big. The food was great, very generous portions and tasty, especially the pasta dishes. Breakfast was also varied, with plenty of local products.

It's in a good location, but not exactly by the slope. They have a shuttle van, driving you straight to the ski lifts, which is even easier. The staff was super helpful driving us up even off regular hours.

Overall, a great experience, and will only stay at Hotel Ideal if going to Madonna di Campiglio again. I saw a couple of weird reviews. Don't let them scare you. Hotel Ideal is great!
