A fantastic place
Merletinoon 15/08/2017 11:11We absolutely loved our stay at Il Boom. The villa is stunning and every single room is decorated with wonderful taste. Our hosts were charming, always very accommodating and ready to help. The views from the 2 terraces were splendid and the company of the friendly cats and turtles was good fun. Our room was very quiet and spacious. The villa is ideally situated for walks in Trastevere and the owners also have a restaurant called Meridionale which is very nice. We were thrilled to stay at Il Boom and we'll be back.

Oregonwhiteoakon 11/08/2017 16:45Il Boom B&B is a wonderful place to stay in Trastevere, Rome and Angelo is a great host. Located on Via Dandolo it is in a residential neighborhood, but convenient to all the sights of Rome by public transportation and, of course, taxi. At check-in Angelo explained the convenient bus and Metro schedules and which lines served the various parts of the city. He explained the workings of the espresso machine as well as the coffee maker which was very important for the coffee addicts! We stayed 5 days as a family of 5 adults and two 8-year olds. Il Boom is clean and spacious with comfortable beds and with a lot of character. We enjoyed a variety of food for breakfast and the open kitchen allowed us to cook eggs, etc. We had evening wine on the breezy rooftop terraces overlooking Rome - colorful with blossoming plants and 3 cats and 2 turtles coexisting contentedly. The halls and rooms are decorated with photos of old movies and romantic movie scenes as well as some Americana – a jukebox and pinball machine. We do plan to return to Il Boom and this incredible ancient city, its ruins and religion with its wonderful restaurants. Thanks so much, Angelo, for being our host and we hope to see you again soon.
Lovely home away from home
mum2a7yroldon 20/07/2017 10:48We were 2 families with 3 kids in total and stayed at Angelo's B&B for 3 nights. From the beginning he was very patient with my ever changing dates/plans to the time when we finally reached his B&B it was like being at a home away from home. Anyone travelling with children will know and appreciate how important it is to have a clean cool airy room with high ceilings and plenty of space to take a break from sightseeing in th height of summer heat ! The kids loved coming back to the rooms and the outdoor terrace with the pet turtles and cats were a big hit ! The breakfast was amazing and we actually liked that it was a DIY breakfast room so we could enjoy it and make it the way the kids like their breakfast. And the fact that it was available till 12pm with snacks afterwards was a great idea. So thanks a lot Angelo. Staying at your home was the best decision we made for our holiday in Rome !
A wonderful stay in great location

The BnB is in a great location, easy walking distance to all the major attractions as well as some of the best restaurants I visited in Rome. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast choice is extensive, even catering to vegans. There is also a terrace and rooftop to enjoy views over the city. All in all my experience here was perfect and I will definitely be back!
Wonderful Place - highly recommended!
sclpcaon 15/07/2017 00:35My family had a wonderful stay: so stylish and modern! Every morning we enjoyed a great breakfast, evenings spent on beautiful terraces. Our beds and bathroom were very clean and modern - terrific neighborhood too, easy to get around, felt very safe. We will definitely return to Il Boom B&B Roma!
