A perfect one night stay for a 30th Birthday
JLeanneon 30/05/2017 15:19We only had time to stay one night in Amalfi, but we were thrilled with Il Porticciolo! We had some concerns about parking before arrival, but called Mr Alfredo as instructed by email when we were about 15 minutes away from arrival, he met us in Amalfi square and it could not have been any easier!
The hotel is a short (2 minute walk) into Amalfi centre, so was a perfect location for us as we only had one day. Rooms spotlessly clean, stunning views and of course that amazing rooftop patio where breakfast is served. A little birthday gift when we checked out was a lovely thoughtful touch :)

Two days in Amalfi
Noodledoodle005on 19/04/2017 15:51We stayed in Hotel Porticciolo for our two day stop in Amalfi. Alfredo collected our car as you cannot park outside and drove it to a safe parking area where it was brought back on our return. Carmella greeted us on our arrival and was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable with fabulous views. Breakfast was excellent and was served on the terrace.
About 40 steps up from the main rd so may not be suitable for pushchairs or less able people.
We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel.

beautiful room and breakfast
jchambers2017on 05/03/2017 01:47Our room was beautiful and clean. I loved the rooftop patio where breakfast was served and where you could relax with a bottle of wine or a good book. The scenery was breathtaking looking down on Amalfi. I loved the quaint town and beauty. Mena and Carmella were our hostesses and made sure we were well taken care of. Upon departure, Mena gave us a souvenir that sits in my window to remind me of my wonderful trip to Amalfi and all of Italy!

Rosarosa54on 31/12/2016 17:57We only stayed for one night, the first night of our honey moon, but we will always remember that amazing view of Amlfi and the sound of the sea. Very good breakfast. Very kind staff. There are steps to climb but that's typical of Amalfi.
Beautiful staff, great view, excellent room
Rebecca Ron 06/10/2016 19:12We stayed at the Il Porticciolo for two nights. After a long train ride and bumpy bus to the Amalfi, we were warmly greeted by Carmella. She gave us the room on the bottom floor; highlights were the view, the huge shower head and the kitchenette in our room. Carmella was very accommodating at breakfast. She had excellent knowledge of Amalfi. The price for our room was reasonable; stay here for a great experience in Amalfi.
