Nicest Hotel on Our Trip

The Imabari Kokusai Hotel is a nice, modern Western style hotel. We stayed there for one night in March 2017 with our tour group, and I thought this was the nicest hotel on our trip. The rooms were very spacious, and the bathroom had a separate bathtub and shower. As with other hotels in Japan, guests were provided with a hot pot to brew tea, slippers and kimono to wear, and toiletries (everything from toothbrushes to razors). The public areas were nicely decorated and the hotel featured a beautiful Japanese garden. Best of all, it had an onsen (hot springs) where guests could soak and relax. (If you've never been to an onsen, I highly recommend it, but please read up on the etiquette.). Another plus for the hotel is that the elevators weren't very crowded like hotels in big cities.

Nice Hotel .... but a little dated

Stayed two nights recently. Whilst the hotel was comfortable enough the rooms appeared stuck in a 1970s/1980s time warp. Unfortunately too the furniture is of a scale where tall people find it difficult to get up from chairs and beds.

Massive crystal chandeliers, lots or original artwork, huge sprays of silk flowers, and a collection of model ships present a wonderful first impression. I had a large room with a very comfortable king size bed. All the carpets and furnishings were clean as were the linens. The breakfast buffet was also delightful. They only reason this hotel did not get an excellent rating was I noticed that those enormous chandeliers in the lobby and on the second floor in the "Crystal Hall" needed cleaning. But that would certainly not stop me from choosing this place for another stay.

Luxurious hotel in a cute small town

Hotel is in excellent condition, located in the center of the city. Has a huge secured parking right next to the entrance. As usual in Japan, the staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was great ! We had a huge room with two large beds, overal in excellent condition and perfectly clean. Nice view. I strongly recommend this hotel for travellers on arriving to Shikoku, or leaving it. It's the closest from the bridge connectiong Shikoku to Honshu. 5 stars all the way.

BEST HOTEL IN IMABARI

The perfect hotel to visit for a business trip, which most of the shipping community uses to access this city which is ones busiest shipping town with Shipyards located all around and full of Japanese shipowners.

The perfect hotel for any visitor to Imabari and very reasonable in its pricing, especially if you can manage to get a discounted room with the help of the business house that you would be dealing with.

As this is the tallest structure in this city, the views are fantastic.
