Perfect spot for a stay in Como
cloudloveon 27/05/2017 19:19First of all I have to say Mario was super attentive, he took the time to give out recommendations for day tours, places to eat and transportation help. It is located like a 5 minute walk from Como Lago train Station. Good wifi, the restaurant serves good food at affordable prices and just outside in the right front corner there is a little cafe where a lovely lady prepared us our morning coffee. Situated a short walk to center of town and ferry dock. We stayed at the En Suite room, we didn't want to share bathrooms with anybody or be restricted to the use of it while they clean it daily at the predetermined hours. I'll stay there again if we visit again. They usually have free breakfast but not in the month that we stayed. Our room was on the top floor, no elevators, we had carry on, so it was no big issue.
Just what I was looking for
Rosemarie Don 23/04/2017 18:26Location in Como is key. There is lots of walking and In Riva al Lago is centrally located. Just one block off the waterfront and minutes from the ferry and open market. Hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Some rooms have bunk beds, make sure you know what you're getting. Also, there is no elevator so unless you get a lower floor be ready to haul your luggage up several flights. This hotel does not offer views as it is tucked away off the main drag, but it is convenient, comfortable and clean. Office is a one-man show and when he steps away he locks up so if you need to catch him be sure in advance that he will be around. Would definitely stay here again. Be advised that breakfast is included on a seasonal basis and not year round.
Good hotel for money in prime location
ashley85_13on 30/03/2017 13:37Cute hotel, reasonably priced and in a great location in the town centre, near the lake. The rooms were very clean and relatively spacious. The restaurant below has excellent food. The staff were very friendly and helpful, showed us to our rooms and explained everything to us. We were able to keep our luggage in the office on our last day after we checked out, before we went to the airport. Nothing fancy but would stay here again. Only complaint were that the beds were not that comfortable.
Central location!

The room was very clean and warm, it was central close to everything you need and the staff was very polite and they kept our luggage until the time we left. The only thing i have to say is that the towels had a weird smell and they didn t change them although we through them down.
Good stay at Como
akhil mon 27/11/2016 13:11Small but clean room, spotless bathroom. Location: a stone throw from Como Nord Lago station. Excellent staff too. Helped us by picking and storing our luggage from the room while we had to leave early to Bellagio-day trip. Quick tip: talk to the owner and make sure he'll be around when you come back to pick your stored luggage. We barely made it when he was about to leave the hotel. Also note check out time - 8 to 10am
