Very Good but needs more lighting on pathways
nypandyaon 08/11/2016 15:54It is a very very good place to stay for wildlife lovers, since the Resort is very close to Tala Core Zone of Bandhavgadh.
Very good food, very good service, nice and courteous staff. Mr. Dadu has a very long experience of the wildlife and can very nicely guide you to identify various species of animals and birds being sighted at Bandhavgadh.
IMPROVEMENT REQUIRED : LIGHTS ALONG THE PATHWAYS AND ON THE WAY LEADING TO THE ROOMS IS POOR. NEEDS MORE LIGHTING SINCE IT IS CLOSE TO JUNGLE. THIS IS MORE IMPORTANT WHEN SOMEBODY IS WITH FAMILY.
Worth the money paid
Indusexplorerson 15/02/2016 17:50Infinity Bandhavgarh is good option, who are looking for a nice resort with good location and with in budget. There is nothing to boast about but at this price one should not expect much more than this. Rooms are nicely design and spacious. There is a swimming pool also which enhances the leisure experience. Food is good enough to satisfy your taste buds
Needs a lot of improvements!
SPSUKon 01/05/2013 13:42We spent 2 nights in this hotel. The access road to the hotel from the main road was agonisingly painful and very long. We were the only two guests in the hotel, but they kept repeating that two other groups are expected, only when we left!!? Only the manager spoke some English. All others immediately started in Hindi totally oblivious to the fact the guest may not understand Hindi. This is not a place for non-hindi speaking British asian.
Room were spacious, but the doors to the different areas will not close fully therefore losing valuable A/C. The paths were untidy, especially at nights with warnings of snakes!
Very limited choice of food, no menu card, all orders taken verbally at the preceeding meal time. This may be because we were the only guests and lack refrigeration facilities.
This hotel may be ok for local tourists but certainly not for those from the west even if they are adventurous.
Not as good as I was hoping for
Barbara Won 09/04/2013 17:01I spent three nights here. I arrived well after midnight (as the train from Kolkata was 5 hours late and the 100 kilometre trip from Katni took three and a half hours). I was greeted very seriously by the three men who had had to wait up for me. I was expecting the warm welcome I am used to from African safari lodges, but there were no smiles and no "welcome to our hotel". My room was very spacious but rather sombre. I enjoyed the pool which was clean and a reasonable size. The food was acceptable but nothing special. The driver and guide provided by the resort were both good, however. The resort is a 30 minute drive away from the National Park but I did manage to see two tigers so that made up for the limitations of the resort.
Good stay, even saw the tigers
Ruby664on 30/03/2012 11:52Infinity Resort Bandhavgarh was a nice hotel. A little far from town but comfortable once you arrived. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I fell ill from the heat while at the resort and not only did the staff look after me but called a dr. from the corbett foundation to take a look at me. I was the only guest at the resort for 2 days but had plenty of time to myself to relax, sleep and watch a movie or two on laptop.
There are no TVs in rooms but you are in the jungle for a safari not to watch tv. Make sure you get the resorts driver for your game drives, he is great. Food was good and drinks were hotel prices, not the in town retail price. If you want retail price have them stop by a store in town before heading back to the resort.
Overall good stay and would recommend to friends and family.
