Simply an amazing place to hang like a boss!

It's the kickoff of the 2017 vacation season and it's time to vacation like a boss! I'm always on the hunt for a bargain when it comes to lodging, this trip would be no different. San Diego can be a difficult destination to find a truly great deal, perhaps due to its popularity. So, I'm on my patio one day in Phoenix, minding my own business, sippin' on a Peet's French Roast coffee while browsing the internet in search of a hotel in San Diego. Normally, I go for a less expensive hotel since Diego is usually priced high for sleeps on or near the beach. So anywho, I search the web and find open dates for Memorial Day weekend at the Inn at Sunset Cliffs, which is odd, it's usually booked by now. Better yet, I find a poolside room for $175 bones a night! So here's the skinny, the place is an older hotel, but a very clean place and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. My room was perfect, it was poolside (with a view of the ocean) had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a comfy bed and was very cozy and clean. The staff are all hipsters and go above and beyond to help and are very accommodating, even helped me set up wifi on my devices so I could get a little work done. Simply said, this place is amazing and well worth the price.

Wedding weekend

This inn is in serious need of repair. The rooms were rundown, beds and bedding shabby. The bathrooms peeling and the cable tv minimal. It rained while we were there and the water came through the bedroom window, leaving puddles on the floor by my bed. The room rate was not inexpensive. I would recommend you stay somewhere else.

Inn and wedding venue

This Inn is tired and in need of renovation. Needs paint, bathroom fixtures and new bedding. Bedroom window leaked with rain water. I would not recommend staying there!
Attended a wedding this past weekend and although the Inn is located right on the ocean, the facility is not well kept. Dirty unmatched chairs, dirty railings, rust, sand bags and dirt were all part of the wedding landscape. I would not recommend this Inn for anything!

My wife and I got married at the Inn this past weekend and we couldn't have had a better experience from the very first day we walked in until the night of our wedding. Gina the wedding coordinator was amazing and made our night exactly what we wanted and as stress free as a wedding can be. Gavin the property manager was also great! He was there the entire day of the wedding and made sure everything went off without a hitch! The property itself trumps everything... the view is beyond gorgeous and the rooms offer a great variety so no matter what your guests need they have something there for you.

I could not recommend the Inn anymore. It was a great experience at a fantastic spot that was made even better by the staff!

Had my wedding ceremony here. Loved it! It was beautiful!! The ocean made it for a beautiful background. Stayed in a room that the window and door faced the ocean and was so calming to listen to. Sat in chairs and just relaxed after all the activities.
