Centrally located, charming mid-century hotel
Sally Hon 21/06/2017 02:11My daughter and I made a one night stop there in June 2017. The property has great mid-century charm combined with with modern conveniences (AC). Super pet friendly. Rooms were large, well kept. The mattress was comfortable. There is access to a well-maintained 24 hr fitness gym right across the street. The staff were friendly and courteous. They have free wi-fi, free parking, free breakfast and the gym. We'll definitely be back.
Nice Hotel
fitza44on 20/06/2017 21:30The staff at this hotel was really friendly. We requested a ground floor room on arrival and they very kindly complied.
The room was nicely decorated and the beds were comfy. Our patio was by the pool. There was a soccer tournament in town and many of the teams were staying at the Inn. For all the children in the pool the noise really wasn't bad, which speaks to the soundproofing of the rooms. We were lucky enough to park right in front of the room.
The onsite restaurant was wonderful. As was the complimentary breakfast in the morning.
Good Wildlife Viewing
RandyEugeneon 10/06/2017 20:07There's a thing in most of Oregon. Newer hotels in areas not Portland are built outside downtown and surrounded by chains. To stay near good beer and dining you have old properties that have funky elements.
I like this hotel despite the funky elements. Rooms are comfortable and newer materials. I'm not a fan of room doors opening to the parking lot but not bad here.
Funky elements- my view overlooked a canal with a freeway and a park underneath. I had a balcony. First day I was sitting out on the balcony when I caught site of some homeless guy stomping on a homeless woman's bike then threw it down the embankment. A few minutes later she dragged up her stolen bike (tires had lots of overspray). Odd display to witness. Next morning park employee in a truck had closed bike path. I figured more trouble. But it was a family of geese trying to get by fence to the water. Aww
Breakfast was good. Hostess attentive, tipping encouraged.
Anecdote-first morning I got out of the shower and noticed the room kept going dark. Very dark! I thought power outage. It was sun coming over overpass and trucks blocking sun. Blinding sun to utter darkness.
Bottom line is I will stay here again. Nice place very close to several brew pubs and restaurants.
Clean rooms, great beds,an amazing place to stay
pigfarton 09/06/2017 21:42Clean rooms, great beds, excellent food, I had the duck - outstanding as was the desert. We had one meal in Jacksonville and I rate the meal 2 stars over the "cool" place there My room had a nice view of the river, ducks and geese were swimming by. It was a great place to stay
Nice place to stay, convenient to downtown Medford
Wayne90704on 03/06/2017 20:08I stayed here for two nights while attending a business meeting in Medford. The property is completely renovated. The outside is still a bit "tired," but the rooms and public areas are terrific. The staff is well-trained and friendly. The property offers a free, hot breakfast that was delicious. Good value. I would absolutely stay here again.
