Great Place!

Always try to stay here every few years when visiting family. Very clean and comfortable, quiet, great staff. There was a minor issue with the sink that we had not even noticed, and we were immediately moved to a larger, even more comfortable room. Patrice was friendly and helpful, as was Mike. Will definitely stay again.

We were in town for a softball tournament and enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The room was clean and staff was friendly. The bed was a little soft for my liking but wasn't bad. There is a nice meeting room you can use if you come with a group. There is also a patio that u can sit out on.

I thought I had a good idea of what I was getting after doing some research, but seeing it in person was even more disappointing. The people who have given it such good reviews must have stayed at a different place – I literally have nothing good to say. From check-in to checkout, the concept of customer service was non-existent.

I didn't realize that the room I had reserved didn't come with a microwave or fridge. When I was checking in I asked if I could be switched to one that did since, as the woman at the front desk said, many were available. She first kept saying I needed to contact the company I booked through to arrange to pay the difference. I told her that she obviously had the discretion to make the switch, so why would I need to involve a third party? Finally, she called her manager and told me that I could get another room if I paid the difference. So they chose to let those rooms sit empty rather than just switching me a different room (and building some goodwill with a guest).

The woman in the breakfast room seemed to hate being helpful, and some guy (who I later found out worked behind the front desk) couldn’t be bothered to hold the door open for me as I was trying to exit and he was trying to come in, even though my arms were full. The motel itself was so outdated and depressing, really one of the most joyless rooms I have ever stayed in. The rooms were cramped and bare - not even a mini-fridge or bottles of water. Our room looked out onto a busy street, but the others faced the parking lot.

Worst value ever - I paid $140 for the room and even at half the price I would have felt ripped off.

My husband and I stayed here the night before our daughter's graduation from Syracuse (hotels near the college were outrageously priced) and we were quite pleased. Upon arrival there was a wine tasting and an assortment of cheeses and finger foods (much appreciated after a long drive). They also had a handy list of all the local restaurants and the distance in proximity to the hotel (there are some great spots close by). The room was cute, clean and very comfortable. The continental breakfast in the morning was good. I'd definitely recommend for a weekend stay.

Discrimination NONSENSE

I been staying at this property for 10 years+, and I am dark skinned. The staff has always been very accommodating, gracious and gone above and beyond. I looked at the website for the hotel property, and I see right on it, it states you must be " 21 years or older" to rent a room. Also I book through Booking.com and Expedia.com and I saw the same on all of these websites. In all of my years staying myself, and having family members stay, we have never had any issues with this property of any kind. They have a very clean, well maintained property! The management and front desk are great to work with.
