What People are saying

Great Lodge, Great Staff, Great Location

Ken Kon 05/08/2017 02:32

My husband and I, and our dog, stayed here for a couple of nights last weekend and had a wonderful stay. We have stayed here before and always enjoyed the lodge and location. This time however, the staff turned out to be an unexpected fantastic bonus. They really added to the great weekend. They worked hard to ensure that we were well taken care of and had everything we could want. From check in, when we were immediately switched to a second room having discovered some small issues with the first one (thank you Ed), to check out (extended a little later for us by Joe to allow as much relaxation as possible before we had to leave), the stay was an absolute pleasure. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well taken care of, the common areas extremely inviting and well maintained, and the newly renovated outdoor area and hot tub was an awesome way to finish off our days.

Thanks again to Joe for trying to track down any extra cookies for us that may have lasted past the first day they were put out, and also to Jason, for running to get us extra towels on our second night. Super special thanks to Hilary, for bringing towels out to us by the hot tub, baking those awesome cookies to put out for the guests on Saturday afternoon, and giving our dog so much love and attention we were a bit worried he would follow her home and never look back.

The bottom line is that this is a great place to stay if your headed to Killington. You can hike, bike, relax and enjoy some down time in a comfortable lodge with some great people to help the stay go wonderfully.

Beautiful Lodge

I stayed here with a bus tour group June 16 - 18, 2017. The lobby is so beautiful with a wood burning fireplace. The smell was incredible !!! My room was very clean and spacious with a fridge -- no microwave. There is a bar on the premises. The lodge offers their signature blankets for a reasonable price, which I think is a nice touch.

Great Hotel!

My family and I spent a night there and had a great time! The staff and especially the manager were very friendly and went out of their way to help us with last-minute reservation. The breakfast was very good too! We plan on going back there as soon as we're able.

Great place, wonderful staff!

Just back from a long weekend. Took advantage of Killington Wine Festival Package they were offering. A great deal that included admission to all the events!
We have been coming to Killington for years and usually stay in one of their condos. Had passed the Lodge many times and wanted to give it a try!
So glad we did! Everyone who works there is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. They seem to work well together too
Lodge is in midst of needed renovations which did not affect our stay but are needed. Room was very roomy could use better lighting and/or brighter paint colors.
Breakfast was great. Not your typical hotel breakfast. Home baked goods every morning that ate different and delicious every day!
A real Vermont feel. If you r looking for a luxury resort, this is not it. But if you want a wonderful Vermont experience close to Killington and all the places on the Access Road, this is a great choice! We got recommendations for hiking that were terrific too! Very memorable experience!

Family Trip

We travelled as a family of five recently to the Lodge. We stayed in a family suite. The beds were comfortable and we loved the Mountain Lodge blankets. The breakfast that was included each morning was excellent. Our kids loved the games beside the breakfast area!
The hotel was quiet and staff was accommodating and friendly!
