Romantic get away
wsteinthalon 16/05/2017 00:11I took my boyfriend here for his birthday weekend and it was perfect! From the welcome, to the couples massage and from the hors d'oeuvres hour to the dessert hour - all impeccable and all wonderful. The staff was super friendly and had awesome suggestions for dinner. I have definitely found my spot in Santa Barbara - I will go back again and again.

nicole hon 04/04/2017 03:43Looks better then it is. The hotel is very cute, but the rooms need updating, especially the bathrooms.
We stayed here on the way to Big Sur from LA. It was quaint and fine for a night but far from anywhere for a late night dinner, so we didn't eat. Also for breakfast we asked them to make eggs a different way (were happy to pay) but they wouldn't. Also asked if there were any tomatoes or vegetables. I can't eat gluten and don't eat meat, but they weren't happy to offer up a tomato either. It was very odd.

BnRLovetosailon 20/03/2017 03:44A charming Inn. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious! The Inn's website makes it clear that the 101 Freeway is between the Inn and the beach, but I was surprised by how loud the highway noise was on our lovely little ocean view balcony. Also, there isn't any easy short walking access to the beach. (About 15-20 minute walk). We had some issues with room temperature also. Those are the reasons I gave it a 4 rather than a 5. I still think it is a very good value and the Inn itself is truly lovely. We also loved exploring Carpenteria! Visit the nature preserve and the seal rookery!

spiderpig2007on 28/11/2016 07:07This place excels at being classy and cozy at the same time. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The rooms are fantastic, with huge balconies and breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. The breakfast in bed was a wonderful start to our day. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a perfect holiday spot.

Robin Don 06/10/2016 00:36We just returned home from a 3 night stay. Such a great Inn. It is was exactly what we were looking for. Very pretty, lots of character, rooms were tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. They go out of their way to make the place feel as unique as it is. A wonderful breakfast, Wine happy hour and desserts. A great location and a very helpful staff. The property is also very pretty. Wonderful ocean views! It is located very close to the highway but with the patio doors shut at night it was not a problem at all. Will definitely go back!
