What People are saying
so much more than we expected
Scott Don 10/06/2017 22:36We went to Ogunquit for the first time having gone to the cape for a number of years.
The falls at Ogunquit was a wonderful choice. The unit is immaculate as are the grounds.
The staff was so helpful and friendly it felt like we had known them for years.
Ogunquit is a small but beautiful little sea town. It has a great beach for walking and is but a 10 minute walk from the resort. You can then circle back and walk by numerous food and specialty shops, each one a small adventure!
The room was spacious and clean but not overly fancy like you see at many resorts.
If you are looking to eat in a lot and cook this may not be the place for you. The kitchen is limited to a fridge and microwave and a countertop burner and an electric skillet, as well as assorted kitchen appliances. You can cook a meal but would have to be a bit creative. On the other hand you will not be at a loss to find a different place to eat every day of the week. We quickly found our favorites and became repeat customers.
The Ogunquit playhouse down the road was a real treat and will be on our list yearly.
Definitely utilize Keith to learns the ins and outs of where to go to eat and find entertainment. He is a wealth of great information.
They have scheduled tours of the area and off site activities that I would also highly recommend to familiarize yourself with the area. Overall I can't say enough about the resort. We stay at many other good places during the year and Falls at Ogunquit has become one of our favorites. We look forward to many years to come.
Improves with age!
Nancton 03/06/2017 05:37It was over 10 years ago that I reviewed this resort. I thought it was great then and it has not changed. It is a Timeshare resort but we do not own there. We drove by, saw a vacancy and stopped. Staff is warm and friendly. The room was lovely, king size bed, comfortable, nice linens. Whirlpool in the bedroom as well as a vanity, with a second vanity in the bathroom along with tub/shower. Very convenient. Limited kitchen but adequate. Very clean! One thing I noticed was that this resort is very well maintained. I am a timeshare owner at another VRI resort and they could learn a few things from The Falls. No chipped paint inside or out, no weeds or litter...I could go on but visit and you'll agree. There is an indoor pool that we did not have time to enjoy. No, this resort does not have a water view, but our one bedroom unit was so comfortable when we were in it, it wasn't an issue.
Good Choice
jmalc0mon 31/05/2017 15:27We were pleasantly surprised with the size ,comfort & well stocked facilities .Stayed for 5 days with good cleaning service each day..Good location to tour area The only drawback was the pool & limited facilities on site, not much of a resort
Great Place to Stay
Katie Eon 02/05/2017 22:22We stayed here for one night while we visited Ogunquit, Maine. It was very nice. There was a whirlpool in the room and also a separate bathroom. There was a fireplace, living room and small kitchen with a refrigerator, warming plate and cups, plates and utensils. The room was very clean and there was even an indoor heated pool. You're close to the beach. I would stay here again!
Very clean and time share presentation is not so bad
cpennnhon 02/05/2017 17:43This hotel is in a very nice location with walking distance to several great restaurants and the footbridge that takes you to the beach. The room was super clean...so clean that we could almost overlook the huge hot tub in the middle of the bedroom (not really our thing). Lots of space and everything you would need. We did the time share presentation and felt it was informative and that they provide what they promised. They don't sell super hard so there was no drama...just information.
