Very good option for Heilbronn

Good hotel option close to the river. Small room but convenient, and location is quite good allowing you to go walking into the city. Free parking and wifi included on the price.
Some rooms have problems with air conditioning, so they do recommend to leave it working all day with a card they give you, but I noticed a big difference between my room with the fan low speed even and my colleague's room with the air conditioning maxed and still not being able to refresh the room. The ammenities were few and not very good, unknown brand and mixing shampoo and gel, typical of budget hotels.
The best was the breakfast on the terrace, at the open air, absolutely fantastic. The quality of the food could be far better and they were not taking care of the flies flyng over the food as buffet is open air at least on summer, but loved the omelette they prepared for me, german size. :-)
In brief, good hotel option if you're in Heilbronn, while price quality relationship is not very good, you don't get what you're paying for in my opinion at all.

Comfort in central location

Very comfortable rooms, good wi-fi. Brakfast great - except the boiled eggs. Eggs were like 20 minutes eggs, like stone. Both mornings I stayed there. Location is fantasic. I kindofmissed tea/coffeemakinf facilites from the room. The outlook of hotel was a bit outdated, with all that dark wood and gold. But I liked the fact that room was wey well lit.

The room was spacious and very clean. All the amenities and facilities were functioning. There was an abundance of towels - not the usual 1 towel plus 1 face towel. The breakfast was very good and had a variety of options. The staff are friendly and all speak English.

Comfortable place to stay, excellent internet.

This is a good solid place to stay if you are in Heilbron. The staff are professional and friendly
Despite being old the rooms are very clean and well maintained. I found the mattress to be uncomfortable but not too unbearable.

As one would expect the food in the dinning room was on the expensive side and did not offer good value for money. Breakfasts are what one would expect from this type of hotel offering the standard breakfast fair for Germany. Certainly hit the mark but nothing to write about.

Why I will stay again is because this hotel offers excellent, free of charge WiFi. Unlimited data with reasonable bandwidth.

I have been to Insel Hotel 3 times during July and stayed there 3 nights every week.
I must say it is one of the best hotels in Heilbronn.

It is not cheap or affordable but if you are on a business trip and would lile to have sauna/pool/fitness room/drink coffe on a river, Insel is the right place to be.

Breakfast is absolutly amazing. It is so roch and tasty and the view to Neckar is breathtaking.

I would definetly return to Insel Hotel.
