Stayed overnight through work.
It’s a good hotel if you are flying out of the airport locally.
The restaurant wasn’t open in the evening but a 5 min walk there’s a lovely steak house type restaurant. Very good food and value.
The rooms are basic but clean.
Staff were lovely too.

2 other Restaurants nearby, Friendly Staff.

I had taken off my necklace which belonged to my mother who passed away and sat it beside the mirror before leaving for the day. Returned at night and it was gone. We literally tipped the room upside down and left a note for the maid to please return this necklace and left money sitting. Of course she never returned it. The manager of the hotel proceeded to be very very unhelpful regarding this and repeatedly told us it is impossible. The maid had worked there for over 25 years. Well that was a bare faced lie considering the maid who was in our room was no older than 25 herself!! Rather than helping us and questioning his staff he dismissed the issue. I asked for the police and he called and said they couldn't come until 8am the following morning. When I had a flight at 5am. Some of the staff are lovely. Unfortunately thieves do operate at the hotel and it is very unclean. The thickness of the dust between the carpet and dressing table/wardrobes was absolutely disgusting! Bugs found in beds and flying around the room every day/night to which the manager also did nothing. Disgusting overall hotel. The hotel next door is beautiful, not worth the heartache to go to this hotel. Please be aware of this hotel! It was a living nightmare.

The room was pretty basic but very clean ,the hotel staff were excellent and friendly .There was also a free airport shuttle ,the only disappointing part was the restaurant was closed at weekend s .But a wee bonus for us was 10 minute walk and your at the Show Grill best steak I've ever had.

I went down to have a drink in the bar and left my wallet in my jacket in the room. When I got back to my room I didn't check but next morning when I wanted to pay my wallet was empty. The manager denied any responsibility, saying that it was impossible for anyone to have entered my room as there was only one key. A highly unlikely story! My take on what has happened: someone, possibly an employee from the hotel, used a spare key, entered my room and stole the money but not the wallet as not to alert me before departure.
A hotel not to be recommended therefore! in fact, a hotel to actively avoid!
