burtonrosieon 25/06/2017 20:44The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. We had a standard double room which was spacious compared to many we have stayed in. The shower room was roomy and very clean. We did not eat here but by the lovely smells coming from the kitchens suggested the food was very good.
One down side was no air conditioning in the room and the week we went was extremely hot.

elchoron 12/06/2017 13:11We stayed here one night after a visit of the Mont St. Michel. About 25 min. drive from Mont St. Michel, the hotel is conveniently located. Pleasant lobby, very friendly people, smooth check in. There is a large parking space in the back of the hotel. We had a very clean, modern and spacious room. Modern and clean bathroom with walk-in shower. Nice balkony. There is a small, well kept swimming pool. They have a very good restaurant, where we had a three course menu for 20 euro per person. Food was very good, especially considering the price. Drinks were priced very modestly. Breakfast was great, offering everything we liked.
We would really highly recommend this nice place !
Very modern
decbIrelandon 28/05/2017 08:01Stayed here on way to somewhere else just the one night, it's all you could really do in this town, lovely modern reception area, nice guy checked us in.
They seem to have a few different options of accommodation here, we got a kind of mini house look with the one bedroom and ensuite. Free parking.
The only thing was they seem to be under staffed as it was hard to get a drink at their little bar.
Definitely worth an overnight...
A good nights sleep
raggedydoctoron 08/10/2016 12:29Having travelled all the way from the Pyrenees I was desperate to find somewhere to rest. Having had no luck in Rennes I proceeded to try Avranches. It was getting late when I saw a sign for this place. So glad I did and it was refreshing to see they were still open and taking in paying guests - a lot of hotels seem to shut at 10pm here in France. Room was lovely, fresh and clean. Reception staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast could have been better as there didn't seem to be anyone attentive. There was no hot water available to make a cup of tea so I had to make do with a strong cup of tea. No big deal I guess. I would definitely return and stay here again. Be aware that there is free parking at the rear of the hotel.
Functions over guests
115barriedon 10/09/2016 12:37I don't think any guest staying in an hotel should be made to feel that people at a function in the hotel are more important. We booked this hotel expecting to be able to eat there as they advertised a Restaurant, to be told on our arrival that we couldn't because they had 3 functions on is unacceptable. They should always make provision for guests who wish to eat. The bar area was in the reception area and had also been arranged for the functions, meaning we had to re-arrange chairs ourselves too be able to sit at a table with our drinks
