Nice, warm welcome and nice cosy room. Slightly too far from the main town to really enjoy an evening stroll back and forth from the hotel. However, it was close enough to enjoy the Medieval walled town on the outskirts of town and thus avoiding parking charges in the public Car Park.
Would recommend but not if you want to be close to town and what it may have to offer.

10 minute walk to The Cite as stated. Big car Park. Friendly staff. Large room as we were staying for 4 nights. Trendy straw stools but no bedside tables. No towel rails to dry towels. Plenty power points. Clean and bright. Modern ?

Just back from a three night stay in this hotel which is located just 5 minutes walk from La Cite. Booked a family room which was huge and my 6 year old daughter loves the themed decor and the stairs up to her top bunk. The room also had a patio door leading directly out to the smallish swimming pool which is safely fenced off to avoid any young children from getting too close without adult supervision.
Staff were friendly, in particular the gentleman on reception who provided great information on the local area and advice on where to visit. The breakfast room was busy at times but food was constantly being replenished by the hard working team.
This hotel certainly isn't luxury but it's very good value, clean and in a great location with friendly and helpful staff

Stopped here for one night heading up to La Rochelle. Nice hotel, very clean, big rooms, great shower. Easy walking distance to the medieval cite.
Great value - would come again - great access to all parts of the city

it is hard to find fault with this little gem of a hotel, 5 mins from la Cite, very clean, staff super friendly and helpful. Room was small but had everything I needed and was squeaky clean and the bed comfy. Breakfast was lovely. I would most definitely recommend and stay here again. It is bright, warm and very welcoming.
