What People are saying

Ok for an overnight stay

Eric Aon 23/06/2017 09:24

A budget hotel within one metro stop from Gare de Lille Flandres. The nearest Metro station is a 5 minute walk. It is about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Lille.

Rooms are basic and the ensuite about the size of 4 shower trays. Breakfast was also basic, breads, cheese, cereals juice and average coffee. The bonus is a good safe carpark at the back of the hotel which is secured.

Adequate for an overnight stay but basic.

Very Basic Hotel

Carolyn Jon 11/04/2017 22:47

Hotel was too out of the way and on a one way system which was hard to navigate without a satnav. Shower curtain was stained brown at the bottom. Walls were thin and you could hear noisy people. Beds were too hard. The parking was behind a security gate which had a bell on connected to the reception for them to let you in or out. If no one was on reception you had to wait for someone to get back there from whatever else they were doing to open the gate for you.

Will not be returning and glad we only stayed there for two nights.

Short break to visit war graves

Layla Oon 11/04/2017 12:57

Very friendly staff but the hotel was very basic.
We chose this hotel because it had a bar and restaurant open in the evening but found out on arrival on the Friday that the restaurant only opened Monday to Thursday! Obviously when we weren't there.
The rooms were basic and shower curtain was stained brown.
The parking was behind a security gate where you had to press the buzzer for reception to open the gate for you. If reception was busy you had to wait.
The only positive was the breakfast which was the standard continental. Being a buffet you could have as much as you wanted.

Will not be booking again.

Noisy and uncomfortable

marinescuana2503on 26/11/2016 18:32

I had many trips in my life and stayed in many hotels, but this experience was by far the worse. First things first, just one day before the vacation they cancelled my booking all of a sudden because something was wrong with the credit card. No warning, no explanation, no clue. After calling it went ok. We got there the next day and we were some of the lucky ones to get the "elevator" room. Namely room211. Yes we could have asked for a different one, but knowing that I went there with a burn out and very tired, we just decided to leave it be. The elevator made almost no noise, but the flipping doors right next to the room did the job. Especially in the morning when people went downstairs for breakfast. Someone described the bed as soft in a review, total scam. At least for us it felt like sleeping on the floor. The cherry on the cake was last night when we wanted to eat a pizza at the hotel, however the kitchen was closed. No signs in the room and no explanation given by the reception person. We were so tired we did not want to drive back to Lille so we went to bed hungry. In the morning,we were woken up again at 7 by some random French dude who, according to the sounds we heard, was rather redecorating his room or lifting weights. We were starving, cranky, tired, annoyed so we cut our one and only vacation short and decided to drive back home. I have no idea when we will have another vacation, but this one failed because of the very noisy hotel.
Room was clean, towels, bathroom, bed, floor all clean, the wifi worked well and there was plenty of storage space. So because of this I gave 2 points as rating.

Great place to stay- Renaud at the reception is awesome!

Decent location, free parking is a big plus (if you are driving), clean room, modern look. The hotel gets a five star review because of the man at the reception: Renaud. He checked us in quickly, was kind, and very very helpful. Thank you, Renaud, for making our stay very pleasant and comfortable!
