Not Much Use Now!! This will be our last time here.
Natali Aon 23/06/2017 15:38Since becoming a Brit Hotel earlier this year.... though looking just the same as when it was an Inter Hotel (which was better than when it was a Campanile Hotel) the hotel has ceased to offer evening meal facilities on Fri-Sun evenings...a decision that takes some understanding given that the car park used to be full of British cars at weekends taking an overnight break after the long slog up through France before catching the ferry/Eurotunnel on the last leg. Anyway, it ain't now which is their loss. It's a pain to have to travel into Reims at night and have to find somewhere to eat and park at short notice...the hotel staff were no use on recommendations.
Breakfast, at €9.50, isn't a patch on what it used to be and it's now served in a pokey salon rather than the restaurant. The beds are still comfortable, the parking insn't guarded because they never shut the gate. All in all a waste of time nowadays. Best find a Campanile elsewhere in Reims.
BTW. There's a Brit Hotel A and a Brit Hotel B now, next to each other though the larger one is being renovated at present and is closed.
Basic No Frills Hotel

A small hotel but comfortable enough for our one night's stay. We had a tv, free wi fi. The double bed was comfortable and shower room clean. Breakfast was just French bread and a croissant but this was probably because we were part of a large coach party. I'm pretty sure if you were staying as a family or with friends and not in a large group, that breakfast would have been more varied and substantial.
Handy Stop Off
YorkshireManinblackon 26/04/2017 18:41It's outside of town in and industrial estate. quiet, plenty of parking. Restaurant only open at weekends. Rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly. Maybe not the place if you want to make the most of the city
Good value
Christopher Pon 12/04/2017 20:57Out of the way location, fair price, super service, roomy, very good beds! Good breakfast, guarded parking, but a few hiccups with the wifi, sadly not the best I've seen. Overall, a fine hotel, mid-price and better than you'd expect.
A comfortable hotel with really helpful staff
KWD_11on 24/03/2017 22:32This hotel has a 70s look, with plumbing to match, but the rooms have been updated with some nice flourishes. In particular, the bed was really comfortable, and there was a kettle, although the cardboard cups were thimble sized (so bring your own mug). We ate in the restaurant at lunch time and dinner. Both meals were good, with a reasonable choice; there was an excellent buffet for starter and a wide range of desserts Breakfast was very good with fruit as well as the usual meats and cheese. Service in the restaurant was quick and, throughout the hotel, the staff could not have been more helpful. Wifi was a bit hit and miss. The hotel has good secure parking, and is well placed on the outskirts of Reims. If you don’t have a satnav, it’s worth familiarising yourself with the approach roads using Google Streetview as the turning off the D944 is a narrow one way street which is easy to miss. Altogether, I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
