Delightful B&B in a beautiful city
simon460on 28/07/2017 16:59We enjoyed the warmest of welcomes in this delightful, family-run B&B, located inside the city walls of Bruges.
The owner was charming, very attentive to our needs and offered good advice on parking and sightseeing. Roadside (metered) parking was easy and a good price. It is free overnight but limited to 4-hrs during the day. There is a multi-storey car-park reasonably close by.
The B&B has two en-suite guest rooms, both well equipped, with tea/coffee facilities and wifi. Ours was a good-size double, overlooking a beautiful old convent building at the front of the house. Our friends' room was a bit smaller, at the back of the house. The rooms were good but beds were a little soft.
Breakfast was just outstanding! Both in terms of the range and quality of food choices - there was even a chocolate fountain! We enjoyed our stay here very much.
Lovely Bed & Breakfast
JazzyPerthon 28/05/2016 16:18Stayed for one night in this delightful Bed & Breakfast just 10 minute walk into the Markt ... the heart of the old city.
Marie-Christine, our host, was a treasure ... so helpful and kind.
Had a fabulous breakfast fit for a queen... more than anyone could finish even with eggs how you like them. Beautiful spread.
I had a good nights sleep, although mattress a little uncomfortable.
My only suggestion would be that the bedding smelt little musty as if it hadn't been dried properly ... which I think is easily rectified!
All up a fabulous little place to stay in the old city of Brugge.
Perfect!!

pacar24on 17/05/2015 17:50A great place to stay in a quiet area but within 15 mins walk from the centre of Bruges and all the sites. Very clean and comfortable with quirky decor and an amazing breakfast with cold meats, cheese, fruit and a chocolate fountain! The landlady was helpful and gave us ideas of places to visit and sorted out parking permits for on-street parking.
Last minute reservation, pleasant stay!
itk1234on 21/09/2014 20:43We had changed our plans 2 days before to include a stop in Bruge on our way back from Northern Holland. The hotel was easy to find using the Garmin, but parking was a bit of an issue. We had to park several blocks down from the hotel as this is a residential neighborhood with a very narrow street. The owner gave us a parking sign to put in our window, so that we would not have to pay. Our room was small, but with a large bathroom. The mattresses on the beds need to be replaced, I had to put a folded blanket under the center of mine so that I would be able to walk in the morning. The towels and bed linens could do with a bleach rinse as they smelled rather musty as if they had not been dried properly.
Breakfast was very nicely done with a chocolate fondue/fountain with fresh strawberries! Our hostess was very helpful and accommodating with directions and the room has maps and brochures available. This B&B is about a ten minute walk to the center of the old town.
