Great business hotel

I needed a different electric plug and they had one in the room.
The room service was quick and delicious.
All their staff were very attentive and had a very happy disposition. They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable.
I even got a special ride in their Tesla!!!!
The location is in town but very close to the airport. And the bus stop is just outside the hotel.
Great Geneva Lake View

great location, fabulous Intercontinental experience, and great room service.
its near the UN & ITU buildings and they offer you a free public transportation ticket and a Bus station in front of the hotel .

Wonderful hotel, feels luxurious, a bit far from the city center
sasquatchsfon 30/06/2017 07:41We stayed here for 2 nights and were really happy with our visit. Some InterContinental hotels don't really live up to expectations, but this Geneva property is incredibly well run and very luxurious. Every person we encountered, from the porters to the front desk reception to the concierge, could not have been more friendly and eager to help.
From the outside, the building doesn't look like anything special -- it looks like it could be any modern apartment building in any city in the world. As soon as you step inside the lobby, however, it's a chic, calming oasis.
As IHG Platinum members we were kindly upgraded from a standard to a deluxe room (basically, just a higher floor). It felt really spacious, light-filled, clean, modern, yet also charmingly decorated. We had a lovely view of the pool and the mountains. The bathroom was quite luxurious -- not huge, but big enough for two people to fit comfortably, and with the feel of a Swiss chalet. I especially liked the deep soaking tub.
Since we were there for such a short visit and spent most of our time sight-seeing, we didn't get a chance to explore a lot of the property or try the breakfast. However, the pool area was gorgeous, as was the spa.
In terms of location, just be aware that while it's within walking distance of the UN, it's quite far from Geneva's downtown -- about 10-15 minutes by bus. (The hotel gave us a free transit pass for this purpose.) So if your priority is to stay near the lake and shopping/restaurants, this isn't the right hotel for you. Having said that, we found the travel back and forth to not be much of an inconvenience.
