Miblu73on 07/08/2017 04:19Amazing hotel, beautiful rooms with great view, good restaurant, nice staff. Been there for a exhibition at ball room and all organisation was perfect. In the evening went out nearby the park for the fantastic water show and took a walk to the river. Nothing to complain about.
Great Place To Be
Stefan Mon 06/07/2017 09:14Positively surprised! First time to China and Hangzhou so I have nothing to compare with but I can only recommend the place.
Rooms: Had a room on the 17th floor so I do not know whether the rooms on other floors have a different layout because of the building design. Spacious, enough space for clothes to hang and put, bathroom big enough with separation for shower and even toilet. Clean and tidy, perhaps some years old but you really do not recognize this.
Breakfast: Mixture of Chinese, Asian and Continental Breakfast. Everything is available! Actually I think it is too much because you really spent time in looking what is offered instead in having breakfast...
Personnel: Here I have to tell that this was just more than perfect! Wherever you went you had been taken care of. I had due to accident even the support from the hotel that they joined me with one of their employees to the hospital for a check. This free of charge and without even asking or any discussion. Just helpful! Once again thanks very much (also special thanks to Roy who joined med to the hospital and was guiding me through the different dep. and translated - Big thanks)
Great for Conference Stays
Jim3030on 03/07/2017 02:43Attached to the premier conference facilities in Hangzhou, this Intercontinental Hotel is an architectural feat, with spectacular lobby/atrium, well-equipped and large guest rooms, and outstanding dining and bar areas. Basic fitness center but nice pool, both on the top floor.
Very comfortable rooms

Breakfast downstair is good, wide variety of Western and Chinese. Upstairs at the Lounge breakfast is basic but adequate.
The pool is curved, so have to swim laps in a curve. Gym is basic but ok.
Peak of luxury
Louisthton 24/06/2017 11:51I had to stay in this hotel because of a conference I am attending. The room has a breathtaking view of the river and surrounding buildings. The postmodern design of this hotel, and surrounding ones, like the civic center, is a marvellous sight. The room is probably one of the most spacious I have stayed in anywhere in the world, with a walk in wardrobe and dual sinks. The comfort level is amazing, with a second television from the bath tub, work desk, lounge chair, huge king bed and free wifi connection. The bed faces the glass window which occupies the entire opposite wall of the room. At night the sight of the moving lights from the nearby building is out of this world. The checking in desk and the breakfasts are located on level 5, separated from the concierge and travel stuffs on level 1, so need to changes lifts to get out of hotel each time. This is a little inconvenient but provides more security and privacy.
