Good hotel

Hotel is in centar of the old town and near everything important. Staff is nice and ready to help. Food was excelent (six to eight different menues to choose from).We had room with ocean view and it was great.

Decent hotel in Rab old town

My wife, my daughter and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, and it was just a few days ago that we came back home. Our vacation in this hotel was - in general - very good. Our room was big, clean, working A/C, tv and a nice size bathroom. Only downside was that - WIFI - was not working in our room (it was on the far right side of the hotel).
The food was also nice - self service. For breakfast there were eggs, bacon, hot dogs, cheese, jams, honey, coffe, juice.. and other, in general what you expect from hotel of this category. For lunch there was always some kind of fish, squids, meat, potato, salads.. etc. and everything was well prepared. In couple of occasions there were some cakes and ice cream for desert (why there was no ice cream or cake for every desert we don't know).
The staff was, well, sometimes not very helpfull. They were polite and everything, but for example when we mentioned that we have no WIFI in our room, the receptionist was just 'surprised' that we don't have it, but it didn't do nothing to fix it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting that staff is just "jumping around us" but if they just said - "Please wait a minute, I'll try to speak with someone about this... " - but no, there was no response. In general, staff was polite, as I mentioned, but you can tell that they are here just for a summer job - they are simply not prepared well.
And yeah, elevators are in desperat need of an 'upgrade', they are old, they are small.. you can't put two adults and two bigger bags inside.

We did enjoy our stay there, in general room was nice (family room - two adults, one child of 3 years), food was good and staff and service were OK (some of the staff could use a better preparation). Location of the hotel is excellent, you are in center of old town and once you've parked your car (cca 500 meters away) you are good to go. Beach is 2 min walk away, grocery store is a minute away, summer theater is also nearby..

We were staying in the hostel side of the building.Tje reception staff is helpful and friendly especially Christina,Luca and Marina.The breakfast is very nice. location is very good close to everything and the beach closeby is relaxing.Things need to improve is the quality of the dinner, the ac in the rooms. Wifi does not work and the room was not hoovered well and could use a rug cleaner

The rooms were clean but very old-fashioned. Wifi was strange - each one of us got a code but each time you wanted to go online, you had to write the code to sign into wifi network, so the process is too long which is not necessary. Food was ok, a small buffet but nothing special and not very friendly for vegetarians. Staff was kind except for some bartenders who had inappropriate comments (since we were a large group of 23-25 year old students (like "I don't want students here, blah blah", which was very rude).

NO FOOD

NO FOOD !!! We came at breakfast and there was nothing left but some jam and butter. Dinner was a disaster. You have to wait in line to go to eat because there is not enough place in the restorant. And then there was no more food and the staf didnt biring anything. Totaly disrepectfull to all the guests at hotel. We pay to have a service, not this !! When asked to bring more food the staf hide in the kitchen.
