Excellent service and value

If you are looking for an affordable family holiday Portugal is the place for you! Flying directly from Cardiff with ability to book parking and transfers online. The hotel is not huge but a small family run business. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and the hygiene and cleanliness was exceptional. The hotel has a small pool with sun loungers surrounding, providing excellent entertainment for children and the option for a cool dip! The onsite cafe provides reasonable snacks and a local Spar provides cheap shopping for essentials. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the beach and mariner which has stunning views and tasty eateries. This holiday is well recommended as a family break or opportunity to escape!

Stayed at Zarco for a week at the end of July. The most outstanding aspect of this place are the staff. Our friend Paolo...he couldn't do enough for us and really made it his mission to look after us and make sure we were having the best holiday. Every hotel should have a Paolo!! Also Paula on reception and the lady who works on the bar (can't recall her name) are always smiling and happy to help or have a chat. Make sure you eat at Chez Carlos around the corner at least once...the food is out of this world. Followed by a local drink in Parky's where the crowd are welcoming and friendly. A really lovely place to stay, we can't recommend it highly enough.

Great hotel comfortable spacious rooms family friendly hotel children really enjoyed the pool. When we arrived there were lots of broken sun beds and umbrellas these were all replaced when we were there. Would go back.

Close to a spar shop and a couple restaurants vilamoura harbor is about a 20-25 min walk away or 4-5 euros in a taxi

There's nothing not to like - lovely helpful friendly staff from the hotel manager to the night porter, wonderful people.
Very clean rooms and grounds, no worries and not a problem to be found.
Close to local shops and chemists, restaurants and cafe - Nadege the best hairdresser in Portugal is just around the corner.

To start with the staff are excellent , always greeted nicely with prompt service can not fault.
The pictures we saw on several websites show a lovely sized pool ??? The rooms look large for a family stay but good camera angles used.
I have to say my review would of been a lot mote positive if I had one good nights sleep out of seven. My mattress was very uncomfortable I was tempted to take one of the lounger cushions from the sun beds.
Overall very good.
