hikingoilpainteron 28/06/2017 22:58This motel was sold since we last visited a year ago. It used to be very nice and clean. I would not stay here again. I had requested an upstairs room when I booked in February. The upstairs rooms had all been updated with new tile and bathroom fixtures last year. I was told none were available when we checked in. It certainly didn't appear that anyone was staying upstairs....maybe the new owners? The towels were all thread-bare. The two tiny packages of soap that were provided were both broken in pieces so small that it was next to impossible to use. What a shame for such a nice property to become what it is now.
Quick Overnight in Lakeview
Paul Aon 23/06/2017 08:31Easy to find. Excellent signage. Plain rooms with minimal extras. Clean and tidy. Smell of curry coming from office. Poor advice on where to eat, etc. If I had time or returned to Lakeview, might try another overnight vendor. Checked in early so got a ground floor room. Thin walls.
Not to be confused with Wyndham/Super 8.

johnpD8800INon 14/02/2017 21:21WE were going to be late because they require a 10:00 pm check in I call ed and explained we would be about a 1/2 hour to an hour late that was not a problem she instructed us on what to do when we arrived. Ring the bell and go to walk up window. They were very nice had coffee and breakfast rolls in the office in the morning. Wlil go back and stay.
Very clean and kept up, lot of pride shown.

Office manager is very nice and helpful with road conditions, local restaurants, etc. Don't let the very slight color tint in the water scare you: the town water just has extra minerals in it. Highly recommend this place, and very affordable.
Rooms are outstanding. Clean, clean,clean. The staff is wonderful. Will stay again.

The rooms are easily accessible with the entire property sharp and well kept. Of all the smaller motels I have known this is hands down the best. Look forward to returning next week for another week of work knowing that I will be comfortable and well rested for the next day.
Should work allow we plan on visiting any number of the interesting features of the area.
