Excellent value close to the airport
crunchierachon 29/07/2017 12:19Stayed at Ipil suites for two nights,after staying at their sister hotel in El Nido.
The hotel has a beautiful foyer,and the pool looked divine, although I didn't get a chance to try it out.
We booked for the cheapest room,so it was cosy and without a view, but had everything we needed. The restaurant for dinner is reasonable,and the breakfast on the terrace was lovely. The staff were excellent, both the restaurant and front desk staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. Great if you are flying from Puerto Princesa as they offer a free shuttle service and less than 10mins away,but if wanting to get to the main hub of the city,you will need to take a taxi or tricycle. Overall,a very pleasant stay.

Just for 2 nights stay, I was treated like a family from check-in to check-out.
I was welcomed by Jie at the hotel, she is so efficient and very polite. Despite of the busy lobby during my arrival I didn't have line up and wait to be checked in as I was accommodated by her and even carried my things to my room by herself.
They do not served lunch at the hotel, breakfast is served at the 4th floor and dinner at the poolside area. On my first morning, I received a call from Cazandra at 8:30am reminding me that breakfast is due at 9am. I was thankful for her doing it, otherwise I missed the sumptuous breakfast that day prepared by Chef Ronnie and Jackie and the beautiful view from the top. I was greeted good morning by Biboy, Rudy and Joy with smile. Rudy is their little chef, he made the best omelet for me.
I felt so special during my stay, everyone seems to know me. They call me by my name and always receive their smile.
It was Edison who dropped me at the airport, everyone I meet is service oriented, they are well trained. Sorry if I forgot the names of other staff that made my stay AWESOME.

Nice clean hotel, great pool and good service

The pool was amazing on a hot day - perfect for cooling off. The bar service was good and quick. Very friendly staff.
The room was fine. Very hot and basic. The shower pressure wasn't great.
The breakfast room had amazing views. Basic breakfast but we found plenty to eat.
The hotel has a very basic gym. Two old treadmills, an exercise bike, a weights bench but no weights.
Wifi worked mainly just in reception. Not by the pool or in the room.
