Beautiful Gem

We stayed at the Island Cottage Oceanfront Inn for our 17th Anniversary the first weekend in July 2017, and what a spectacular stay it was! To say this charming inn is perfect is an understatement. Every year for our anniversary we stay on the beach, and I am quite particular about where we stay...Island Cottage was by far the best choice I have ever made. So much so, we plan on returning before our next anniversary even! Toni and Mark are extraordinary people; they are not just hosts, they go above and beyond. I cannot say enough good things about them, and look forward to future visits.

Our stay was in the Tobago Room. Based on my criteria...a private balcony and a room on the second floor...we were limited to either Tobago or Barbados. I was hoping for Barbados, but it was already booked by the time we got around to making our reservations. I'm so glad it was...we fell in love with the charming Tobago Room! Even with my choosiness about a view (remember my oceanfront criteria above when finding a place to stay), I absolutely adored the location. The view still includes the ocean, but gives the added bonus of the beautiful courtyard of the Inn. Prior to arriving I was skeptical of my choice; however, one step out on the balcony eased all my fears!

The one huge plus to Flagler Beach is the ease in accessing the beach. Added bonus here with Island Cottage is the private gateway...love!

We look forward to many more stays!

Romantic Retreat

This was our first time staying at the Island Cottage and we fell in love with it immediately! From the warm reception from Toni and Mark to the homemade cookies in the lobby and chocolate covered strawberries in our room we were truly blown away. All of the personal touches made our trip so special and memorable. We particularly enjoyed taking the bicycles out and about around town and along the sidewalk next to the ocean! Of course we can't forget being treated to a delicious homemade brunch.. the best fresh toast we've ever had! Cannot wait to visit again!

30 year anniversary

We spent our 30th anniversary at Island Cottage and we could not have had a better experience. Tony, Mark and Sue made us feel special in every way! From the fresh flowers in our room to the oh so yummy cookies that Tony sat out for guests each day, no detail was overlooked!
They made reservations for us for our dinner celebration in Daytona at the Chart House and ensured that we were seated at the best table in the house and to top that off they even bought our dessert! Where has anyone ever been taken better care of? No Where! We had breakfast for two mornings of our stay and both mornings we were served 5 star melt in your mouth breakfasts! They had a Memorial day BBQ for all the guests to attend and just as it was with breakfast the food was outstanding! The location of Island Cottage in Flagler Beach only enhanced the experience. There were more things to do than we had time to do them in and all of this in a very safe and family friendly environment! Tony and Mark give their guests memories for the ages and I would highly recommend anyone who likes to be pampered and spoiled to make a reservation to stay, but do it soon because I'm sure that the wait list will only grow as more people who have had the good fortune to stay here return year after year !I know we will !

Heaven on earth, place is amazing very clean,Owners are wonderful always trying to make sure everything is ok or if you need anything. Walking distance to many great restaurants.Easy access to beach area. The view is amazing.

This place is amazing! The room was beautiful, functional, and comfortable! The hosts were very congenial and extremely helpful in obtaining information about things to do and see in Flagler Beach and the surrounding area. Both of our hosts are very accomplished individuals that allowed us brief insight into their adventurous lives and welcomed us like old friends even though this was our first visit to the Island Cottages Inn & Spa. We will be back! I recommend this Gem to everyone wanting to get away from your everyday life for some fun down time!!!
