Blood? Not Funny...

My daughter and I stayed here last night. It's not the cleanest, but whatever. The problem is really the staff. They barely looked at us while checking in, but we got checked in so whatever again...so far so good. Later, when I pulled down the covers to go to bed, the whatever good enough times stopped. Blood. A lot. All over the sheets. Not blood stains, fresh blood. I called to get some fresh sheets. Michelle said she was busy checking in a guest and she'd be up after. While we waited, my daughter and I imagined all the ways the blood could have come to be on the sheets. Perhaps the cleaning staff member had a cut on her hand and didn't notice. Perhaps there had been a dog fight. Perhaps it was a prank. We wondered for almost 2 hours. I called again. Michelle was still busy. There was no one to bring new sheets. No, I could not come get them myself. No, she does not have a time frame for me plus "Talking to you on this phone is not going to make me come any faster."
Eventually, she called us down to pick up sheets. We were able to change the bed. I mentioned to Michelle that kindness goes a long way in dealing with guests, but she didn't agree. Definitely won't stay there again.

Poor service, poor rooms

First it starts w holes in bathroom and stuffed w toilet paper, ended w a child falling on water draining from ac units outside and the lack of care for the 4 yr old girl. Hotel staff seems to not care.

My husband and I have stayed here before and we was pleased. This time I had booked a non smoking room, (I had a smoking room). Which he changed quickly to another room we walked in the bed was a mess and stuff all over the floor. We went back to the front office he apologized and gave us another room. Upon entering 231 it looked great that was until we walked into the bathroom and OMG!!! the commode was so nasty looked to have vomit or feces all in it stuck. We went back and just ask for a refund and he was very quick to say yes. I paid immediately and now here I set without my money for who knows how long. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL Do not let the Remodeling fool you!!!

Fireworks and Fun

We stayed here for the Fourth of July festivities at Patriot Park. It was a nice place to stay. The beds was comfortable and the room was clean. It had a fridge and microwave. We walked to the Island caught the tram to the trolley that took us right to the park. No traffic to fight, no hunting a spot to park. Great service all the way around.

Stayed in this hotel for a few days and supposedly all of the rooms were remodeled.. hello yeah right..only a new paint job and title in the bathroom..and the lights don't work and the staff are not friendly at all. I asked to speak to a manager he was supposed to call me on Monday since he had the weekend off. Never even called me, the person at the front desk didn't give him the message or the manager himself didn't care. Outside of the hotel reeks of cigarettes, and people standing outside of the room sitting on chairs smoking throwing cigarette butts on the ground. Not family friendly at all.. The only good thing is that there across the street from the Island which it is
a fun place to go to.
