I really liked the stay at Island Palms over the October Long Weekend, I work for Flight Centre and have visited many places. Having easy polite smiling faces and attitude really helps with business. Would stay again in the future for sure...

A clean, well maintained hotel.There are not a lot of choices for luxury, short stay accommodation in Forster. I assume it's because it is a relatively small place and can't support five star type resorts. Island Palms is a short drive from the main beaches. It has a small swimming pool and a restaurant that wasn't open when we were there. It is very typical of mid range motels. The basics are there, it's clean and the rooms are slightly larger than normal. Beds seem to be due for replacement and the rooms still have those radios built into the bedside consoles. I understand that these type of hotels must find it very difficult to maintain the standards that people expect these days - so am not complaining. I can only appreciate that they are doing their best with what they have given the seasonal nature of Forster. Great place for a short stay.

We were there for two nights. This is the second time we were there. Generally a very good one - very good location, close to shops and restaurants. Motel well managed and very clean. It would be better if the rooms have heaters cos it could be cold at night in Winter.

We found this motel very convenient with clean and quiet rooms, and friendly and helpful management. Parking was right outside the door, and everything was very well organised. The room was a good size, also light and airy, and included a table for eating/reading.

I booked the Island Palms due to its convenient location dear the boat dock and the great reviews that it had. We were certainly not disappointed. The staff were friendly and accomodating, the room was lovely, neat and clean. and THE BEST DAM SHOWER HEAD EVER.
As we were only staying one night, our group booked one room, we liked that between the beds there was a privacy wall between my fiancee and I and his brothers.
Will stay again when next in Forster.
