The Epitome of Aththi Devo Bhav!!!
coxypauline878on 31/08/2017 17:57Itc Rajputana as name suggests It gives you the feel of Royal Rajputs who use to be warriors in Rajasthan. As you will enter in the Property you will be mesmerized by beautiful Lobby they have . We were welcomed in very royal style Aarti and tikka. We had jaamun drink as welcome drink.Property looks like previously it was a Haveli but It was built as Hotel only. Now I will talk about the staff it is impeccable and superlative. We met a lady named Priya at lobby .she intracted with us and made us comfortable. she gave us breif about the Property. The hotel rooms are quite large and has king size beds which feel nothing short of sleeping on a huge comfy cloud :). Not to mention the awesome spa and the swimming pool. But above all, I felt that the hospitality that I felt during my stay was not comparable with any other place I've stayed in my life. The hotel staff is always eager to satisfy the tiniest need of the guests and they are quite efficient in doing so.
However beyond all the positive characteristics about the hotel itself, the more important aspect I take into account while appreciating the quality of a service is the friendliness of the staff. And this is the most oustanding attribute of the hotel, the very gentle people that make it possible. At this point I would like to make a special mention for Priya, who served my arrival Drink and walked us across was really kind and helpful with me every time I requested something. I would also like to highlight her very good manners, I remember chatting with her about Jaipur and its ancient history, issue in which she proved to be well informed. Moreover, Priya helped me to connect my phone to hotel's Wi-Fi also.
The rest is encompassed in the title itself!
Good place
terence lon 31/08/2017 09:14Good place to stay with good non vegetarian food. Priya patiyar took my checkin and it was a great experience in terms of stay and the ambience. I do recommend this place to my fellow Indians for a family holiday
Luxuriously Dumpy
ARK_Travelerson 31/08/2017 08:25Having stayed at the Rajputana on many instances, we looked forward to our return to this centrally-located hotel in Jaipur. We arrived past midnight due to the flight timings. Unfortunately nobody was directly available to help, but finally one staff member was able to be roused. Note that this hotel practices deceptive Dynamic Currency Conversion charges.
Positives
+ Amazing lobby and interior decor on the hotel premises; it reminds one of an ancient Indian haveli
+ Great restaurants to rival the best in India - for example, Bukhara is probably better than its counterpart, the famous Bukhara at the Maurya Sheraton in Delhi
+ Fantastic court yard area to relax and spend time outdoors, but away from the bustling city life
+ Friendly hotel staff
Negatives
- The older wings are have dilapidated old rooms which show their age; new rooms are much better, but may still have items broken such as the bathroom fixtures
- Some check-in staff are rude and unhelpful, which probably owes to training
- Coffee shop has lackluster food
- If you pay in restaurants, and even at checkout, they attempt to add an additional 5%-7% to your bill and charge you in foreign currency using dynamic currency conversion. For example, a $1,000 bill + 7% = $1,070. This is irrespective of hotel taxes and service charges
I have stayed at this hotel many times. Each time, it's great restaurant food + generally a great stay (if one gets the newer rooms). Overall, customer beware
A grand stay
Lee Hon 31/08/2017 05:47We stayed here for a couple nights while visiting Jaipur. Getting there, one would never think such a grand hotel is possible. Outside the hotel complex is the hustle and bustle on the streets of Jaipur. Once you step inside, however, life changes. We were greeted by many friendly faces on our way to check in. Folks made sure our bags were taken care of. While waiting to be checked in, we were served refreshments. The initial building where we checked in is old and grand (much marble). The rest of the complex, while newer, is very stylish and of high standard. The pool is in the center of the complex. When sitting in the pool area (which is very large), it was a struggle to here the noise from Jaipur outside. Every night some women dance and men sing for 45 minutes, which is neat to see some of the local flair.
Excellent place to stay for a weekend.
Gautam Mon 30/08/2017 10:40Beautiful property. Awesome service. Nice food. Good variety of restaurants and cuisine. The in house spa is very good. Located in the heart of the city. The staff is very helpful. Also the property is well maintained and the rooms are nice and clean.
