67DaSon 27/08/2017 18:41Bargain hotel, strange location. Rooms were clean, although no lock on toilet door. Showers were amazing. Disappointed that you had to pay 20 euros for a wifi that was extremely unrealiable, not worth the money. Breakfasts were of a reasonable standard, staff were very attentive. Take you own pillow, as the ones provided were really uncomfortable.
Great Hotel
original_maxion 22/08/2017 10:22The Hotel is located near the messe which is good for professionals, but it means that you have to take the subway for at least 30 minutes before you do your sightseeing. The Hotel was great, everything was clean, just as you want it. The breakfast had plenty opportunities to start your day.
Tiny bed for single!
BrendanKDublinon 17/08/2017 21:15I booked a single room not knowing I was signing 4 nights of my life for a little prison bed with a width shorter then an outstretched arm (One arm that is), TINY. Dont book here unless your absolutely stoned or drunk so you wont notice when you crash out of the bed just doing a simple toss. (As in Toss and Turn).
Rest of room is OK. Shower and toilet are separated and both are a respectable size. Shower brings my review from a 1 to a 3 star. Great Power and instant heat. Air Conditioning was also excellent. No T or coffee facilities - only €2 bottle of warm fizzy water. Table for laptop and bits and pieces long but too narrow (What is it with this hotel and narrow things!!) Breakfast standard German fair although they do have nice scrambled eggs and hot German sausages or streaky bacon. Pleasant restaurant staff, busy surfing internet front reception staff. Be careful not to interrupt them with a question. Perfectly located hotel - next to Messe Berlin and lots of good quality restaurants and U and S rail stations. The area is upmarket, safe and hassle free. Lots of rich retirees reside in the neighborhood.
Very impressed
hebehornon 14/07/2017 22:20My boyfriend and I booked our holiday through wowcher and spent three nights here last week. It is a lovely hotel, with helpful and polite staff. We were given a room on the top floor with a balcony which was perfect for the warm evenings. It isn't a central hotel however it is only 15-30 minutes to most places on their tube system which we had no problems with, very easy to use. Rooms are spacious and more than expected for the star rating. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend as it was ideal for our budget and type of holiday.
Decent standard
geordielaidleron 10/04/2017 13:56I stayed here with my wife on a city break in February, the rooms were of a business type standard and the breakfast was good. The lift had been out of order and when it was working the doors close within 3 or 4 seconds of opening so you had to be quick in entering or leaving.
If your sightseeing the location isn't the best as you are 15 minutes on the underground from most sights, however the public transport is very good and the difference in price between a hotel in the heart of everything and this one was 3 fold. We bought a couple of 48 HR Berlin Welcome passes at the airport for €21 each and this covered all of our transport costs including airport transfers.
Although the hotel was a little bit away from the sights locally within a two minute stroll there were a few good restaurants, traditional bars and take aways, a €5 taxi or 4 underground stops would get you to Sauvignyplatz, where there are numerous bars, clubs and restaurants.
Overall a great value base for sightseeing just take some good walking shoes
