Excellent stay at Ivys Hotel

Staff are friendly and I now know a number of them. Great service when your referred to by name.
Can't fault any of the services so will continue staying there whenever I am in Uganda.
What you see is NOT what you get
Fndagaon 18/04/2017 19:53Booked to stay over Easter. Location was very difficult to find due to Kampala's chaotic traffic. Arrived on Good Friday and immediately noticed that there was loud music from the bar. Saturday night also had a noisy wedding reception party.
💦 in the 🚿 was either cold or lukewarm, 📺 had no dedicated channel for kids, wifi didn't work or was extremely slow whenever it worked.
They don't have buffet breakfast, they take your order and you wait for it to be prepared.
The swimming pool is only for adults.
The staff were otherwise 👌

Made 2016 Xmas a great experience.
Staff were very friendly. The food was superb. Room cleanliness stood out. Staff were always willing to help despite the busy Christmas period.

KS9BCon 28/05/2016 14:01I visited Kampala at the begining of this month for both business and leisure. And Ivy's hotel gave it away. The location is Excellent and you can access both leisure activities and transport at any given time; meaning at all times 24 hours. The staff are warm with a good hospitality and always at your service. The rooms are spacious and all room rating is value for money. The security is great oh .....I cant ask for more. I recommend any one visiting Kampala to consider Ivy's as your hotel. Please try and visit and you will never regret. Looking foward for my next visit in August at Ivys hotel.

Tom Won 06/05/2016 15:28Well received by the staff and promptly served. The premises are clean and ambiance is relaxing. Food was hot and fresh drinks offered in good variety and tastes. I will recommend this hotel to my friends.
