Building going on next door

Great hotel in a good position in 'eat street' but massive work is being done next door involving a jack hammer, all day, noise was a factor, all k if you are up and about by 8am everyday. The pool on the roof area is nice but no sunny area for tanning. Rooms are very nice and breakfast good.

Wonderful stay at Ize

During our Indonesian holidays we stayed twice in Ize hotel.
Staff is very professional and gentle. In particular Juli is very kind.
Rooms are very clean, spacious and nothing is missing.
Kettle, coffe, tea.. free minibar.
Excellent position in the center of Seminyak, many shops and restaurants in the same street. You will find everything you need in this hotel.

Unfortunate experience

Food in restaurant of high quality, Gym needs extension, incomplete - loud location but that is to do with Seminyak (though sound proofing rooms could be considered).

Front desk staff locked bags on day of departure in managers room then lost key somehow. This placed myself under a good deal of stress, unable to prepare (shower) for flight, change into suitable clothing or access the enveloped funds i had put aside for departure tipping.
Mistakes happen, but what was inexcusable was their lax attitude in finding a solution, everything else given priority or explaining what was going on. It took over 45minutes for them to fetch spare keys from managers accommodation at rear of the building. I made my flight but only because i had planned for extra preparation time. Tips were forgotten n my rush and i had an uncomfortable trip home.

i stayed at 5th floor with huge room, love it, bed also so comfortable, great location for one who love to have club and shops hopping in Seminyak, since its only walking distance to popular clubs in Seminyak.i didn't put 5 stars because bit disappoint on my thin morning cappuccino, but besides that were great :)

If you don't want to spend time and money on transport, this is the ideal hotel to stay in as you are on a main road and have access to loads of great F&B , shops and convenience stores. We prefer to be in Seminyak as it's not as busy as Kuta yet still has a lot to offer. Rooms are clean and comfortable also. If you are worried about the street noise and are sensitive to sound at night then get a room higher up or towards the back part of the hotel.
