What People are saying

A beautifull and friendly hotel, tasty food

Erika816on 19/12/2016 10:04

We stayed for a week in last august. There were four of us: my mother and I and my two childrens, 10 and 11 years old. It's a family run apart hotel and the atmosphere is very cosy and relaxed. We really appressiate all the effort the family had to make us feel comfortable. We bought half board and had breakfasts and dinners in hotel. They prepared all the meals just for us and the food was super!!! The hotel area was very well kept, pools (and every place) were clean and small garden areas beautifull. The apartment we had was ok, we had nice terrace and air con worked well. There were a short walk to Dalyan center witch is a nice place to do shopping and also there is many restaurants to choose from. Iztuzu hotel owner also owned a river boat. We had a really nice day trip with him among the Dalyan river to the Iztuzu beach, I recommend to ask for a boat trip! Thank you Iztuzu staff and owners for your kindness! We had a very good holiday!

Fantastic stay 👌

Absolutely loved our stay at this family run venue. Excellent villa, well maintained. They could not do enough for you. Strongly recommend the food cooked on site 😊 the best in town. Thank you so much

Relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment for 14 nights from late August. We had a lovely spacious apartment which was the whole first floor of the building that looks like a detached villa. We had a lovely large balcony across the front and a side balcony with plenty of space for drying our washing. Access to the apartment was via a few steps up to the front door, this may be difficult for someone not very mobile as there is no hand rail. The first floor is then reached via a spiral staircase. However, there are various styles of apartments, so access to some of the others may be easier.

Both bedrooms were light and airy, benefiting from the breeze that sweeps through Dalyan in the afternoon and both bedrooms had air conditioning. The living room/kitchen was darker as it had a wooden ceiling and heavier curtains which, when left drawn, made the room dark, but kept the sun out.

The kitchen area was fairly well equipped, with a large fridge, which included a decent sized icebox, a washing machine, kettle and four ringed hob. I always have problems operating Turkish washing machines so we downloaded a manual to my tablet and we managed to work it out. It was lovely to be able to keep the beach towels nice and fresh.

The toilet and shower room were separate, it was quite difficult getting the water temperature just right, but there was always hot water. Shower was not brilliant, but we have had far worse.

The double bedroom had a wardrobe with a shelf and safe inside. There was only one drawer in the room, which was a bit of a pain, but next time we will take a couple of Ikea Fangsts to hang from the curtain poles so that we can store our underwear and swimwear. The twin bedroom had some drawers within the wardrobe and a bedside table with a drawer.

Both the swimming pools and garden are well looked after and planted with bougainvillea and jasmine, which smelt lovely in the evening. There was also a lovely Turkish kosk to relax in. The majority of the time the complex was quiet, but this probably depends on who is around. If you like somewhere with a lively bar with something going on, I would recommend that you stay elsewhere, but if you like to be left alone, but with the benefit of knowing there is someone around if you need them then these apartments are perfect. We have stayed in private apartments in the past, but as we are getting a little older (but not old) we like to think that help would be at hand if we had a medical emergency. We also felt that it was more secure than staying in a private apartment where quite often there is nobody else around.

Wi-fi connection is fairly good, which meant we were able to contact a local tour operator to organise some of our trips and email the transfer company to arrange our return journey.

There is a TV in the apartment, but we only managed to find an American news channel to watch.

The apartment was cleaned and beds were changed about three times during our stay. Again, this didn’t bother us as we are used to staying in private apartments where you have to do this yourself. Although it would have been helpful to know when the beds were going to be changed as we would probably have chucked the bedding into the washer in between changes.

We got locked in the bedroom on our first night and, at about 1am, had to shout our son to get us out. The door would not open from the inside, but thankfully worked from the outside. Sadiq fixed this the following day. We always seem to have issues with door locks in Turkey. So, be warned, check your bedroom door before you go to bed!

Sadiq doesn’t speak a lot of English, but enough to make yourself understood, his daughter speaks much more English.

We hope to return to these apartments as we had such a lovely relaxing time staying there.

Another fab time at the beautiful Iztuzu Villas!

We enjoyed the Iztuzu Villas so much last June, we didn't want to stay anywhere else in Dalyan for our Anniversary Holiday and we were happy that we did, infact, we overstayed this year and got new flights home so we could stay longer.
What can I say that I didn't write before? It's still well run, the gardens and pool areas very well kept and our 2 bed villa was perfect, spotless and clean. Nothing is a bother for the hardworking staff and the lovely owner Sidik.
Drinks and meals are good and very reasonable and Sidik's own boat-trips are a lot of fun and again, good food.
The Iztuzu is a quiet and peaceful place to just chill and enjoy, well situated from main Dalyan with a pleasant 15-20 minute walk in. There is a little shop right round the corner at the end of the lane and another bigger shop next to the Binlik on the way into Dalyan - perfect for anything you need or just to stock up.
Loved our holiday - thankyou Sadik and your staff. We'll be back!

Lovely Picturesque Place

We recently stayed at these apartments on 12th July for a wedding we were attending we stayed in a one double bedroom apartment which was by the pool. During our 5 day stay we had no complaints. The apartments were large in size a little simple and dated but clean. Our sons stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments/villas which were of a much better decorative state, we would probably book one of these if we stayed again. The walk to town is about 10 mins so not to bad. The staff were friendly and helpful despite their minimum english. We would stay again had a very relaxed stay.
