x Ron 23/06/2017 20:56I have loved the Magnolia Inn since I first stayed there in 2009, and finally got to return Memorial Day Weekend and found it to be just as delightful, quiet, comfortable and charming as I remembered. Have you ever visited the website? Best of the Net! I love scrolling over the house and having the rooms pop up, then stepping inside each one on the tour. The rooms in the house are beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts each morning feature homemade pastries, fresh fruit, and a lovely veranda to visit with other guests and enjoy the morning sun. I've sent many friends and family to the Magnolia Inn and I plan to return again and again.

Anne Ton 18/06/2017 22:55Terrific B&B in a charming town. The breakfast scones were delicious and we enjoyed eating breakfast on the balcony. The Claudette room was comfortable and Robert was still there for our late check-in. We were able to peek into other available rooms and they all looked lovely! We only stayed one night, but I will be back!
Charming hotel in Jacksonville
PassionateTraveler24on 22/05/2017 22:52My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is very beautiful and very close to everything in Jacksonville. The classic antiques that decorate the hotel lobby and rooms fit the historic feel of Jacksonville.
The second floor verandah with tables/chairs was perfect for late afternoon get togethers with our friends, tasting some wine that we had purchased at local wineries. It was great to have this place to gather.
The morning breakfast was wonderful with a new entree/pastry, etc....each morning that was homemade. It made the breakfast even more special.
My husband and I were very impressed with the owners and the warmth/help that they showed us as their guests. They made restaurant reservations for us. They helped us decide which wineries to tour. They went above and beyond to help us but were not intrusive.
Definitely will recommend this boutique hotel to others and look forward to a return trip there soon for my husband and I.

Rachel Won 27/10/2016 04:33My now husband and I rented the entire house to for our wedding weekend. It was the perfect location, close to our venue and conveniences, and great for pictures with my bridesmaids. The house is so cute and cozy! But what really stands out in my mind is the care we received from the innkeepers and their staff. We were so well taken care of, from breakfast in the morning to champagne in our suite. It felt like we were guests in their home, not strangers. Our out of town guests loved the quaintness of Jacksonville, and we could not have asked for a better experience at the Magnolia Inn. Looking forward to spending many anniversaries there!

w0rldtravelers4everon 15/10/2016 16:06They thought of every detail. Charming rooms, manicured landscaping, breakfast is fresh and different every morning - great coffee! Close to shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment. We cannot wait to stay there again!
