richlee1975on 07/08/2015 00:27Large high rise hotel. Large breakfast, serving both Western and Asian breakfast items. Location near a KFC and McDonalds both serving a menu not served in Atlanta. Great health spots message parlors near where you can by a week of messages for about 20 bucks. Well worth it after a day of sight seeing. Grab a cab go anywhere Roast Duck Houses you don't want to miss. The hotel is rated 5 star but not the same constellations as the US and Europe. Yet the hotel is very traveler friendly clean, polite, nice bar. Would stay again, but the place doesn't have a hold on me would try other hotels if the price moved me.

Travelybon 20/06/2015 18:02The beds are like concrete and the entire hotel smells of smoke it has seeped deep into the walls. The service is average and the position not ideal for Beijing sightseeing.
If you can stay somewhere else then make sure to do so.
If you must stay, the Chinese restaurant downstairs is good and the beers are much cheaper there than in the hotel lobby.
This is very badly managed hotel
dcsf2015on 09/04/2015 14:12The location is good. But the hotel is very badly managed. The facilities and food are of very low quality. Shower doors do not block water. If you are a non-smoker, you will be in hell. Rooms are filthy and smell very very bad bad.
It does not feel like a 5-star hotel
time_wanderer_13on 24/03/2015 15:34The hotel appears to have the services that would qualify it as a 5-star hotel, but it does not feel like it. This is my second stay in this hotel, and things have not improved in 2 years. My main gripes are the breakfast because the poor variety of offerings. The hotel room basically has no temperature control unless you want to heat an uncomfortably hot room. Certainly heating was not necessary in March, and the AC may eventually work in the summer. If you need a comfortable climate to work through your jet lag, you will not find it here. The bathroom has a bat and a shower. The bath tap delivers warm water at a very slow rate. The only way to take a decent bath, if you are desperate, is to shoot the water from the shower (carefully), since it provides a good quantity of hot water. At the checkout they tried to charge us for all the incidentals, which were supposed to be covered by our hosts. They claim that there was poor communication between the reservations department and the front desk. My guess is that we are not the only ones to experience the poor communications. The room WiFi is only usable when only the jetlagset is awake. The laundry was expertly done.

Jenny Pon 15/01/2015 22:10Room was ok, hotel service was ok, free breakfast was good. But, no Wi-Fi in room so you have to be in the hotel lobby to get connected. Smoking in rooms was allowed, was not a good thing especially when it was also allowed in the lobby where guests are trying to connect to internet.
