Amazing view and secluded but not well maintained
Ankit Jon 29/08/2017 13:36The resort is on one of the biggest man made lake of India. To reach resort you have to go by resort boat. It takes 15-20 min to reach resort by boat which gives very pleasant feeling. The resort is on one island in middle of lake. It gives a secluded feeling. Rooms are not upto the mark as per tariff. Food is okay though. Resort requires good maintenance. Swimming pool also requires cleaning. Visit this place for secluded feeling and enjoy lake view.
Exclusive and pristine and just short of it...
Nilay_Sayson 28/08/2017 10:35We stayed here over the Ganesh chaturthi weekend for two nights. The booking was made well in advance on MMT and GST was to be paid directly to hotel. On reaching the man made lake @Jaisamand, we were greeted by an eager staff who ensured that parking was done properly and securely. The staff help also ensured that the lugage was carried to the boarding bay. Access to the hotel is by boat and herein lies the exclusivity. 20 goid mins well spent on the boat on cool waters,we reach the hotel hotel lawns which are well appointed and the hotel bears a heritage feel right from start. The reception is cordial and we are ushered to our room without much fuss. The deluxe room we booked had sprawling view of the lake and the island and we took it all in teh best we could. The room itself was well appointed though there were few things that could have been well avoided from being tardy. After a good rest we hit the pool and the wellness areas which have a charm from the outside but need maintenance on the inside. The pool specifically needs to cleaned so that it matches with the oppulent decor of the resprt. The sauna and steam areas are a standard fare. The winner was the jacuzzi which is themed on the turkish baths and lives upto it. However not all the presurre points were working which was a bit of a dampener. But it is this part of the resort that we enjoyed over the two days here apart from the excellent landcaping and views this resort offers. After a nice shower , we hit the dinner hall which is a banquet room masquerading as a buffet hall but decent. The food was good to very good, breakfast nice and full. Needless to say , we had a good outing and we recommend the same for a peacefull destination weekend. Its only the value for money which can be a personal perspective. Go enjoy Jaisamand for the pristine pollution free experience it offers.
Awesome trip
amd922on 08/08/2017 19:13We stayed in the villa with a semi private pool. It was a beautiful place to have a romantic getaway. They could do away with the loud dj party in such a peaceful place. But otherwise a clean property with good food. Service was good.
Poor maintenance
Mohit Mon 02/08/2017 23:04I stayed here for 1 night (4 rooms with 8 adults)
Pros
1) lake view is amazing something you would love to see when you wake up
Cons
1) this property is in the centre of lake and before entering the lake one has to pay entry tax to Rajasthan government and is the only way to go to the resort
2) you can easily spot honeybees web just above the entrance (refer image)
3) rooms are dirty like wet walls stains on the wall (refer image)
4) bath fittings are rusted (refer image)
5) curtains are dirty (refer image)
All the accessories in the rooms are old
Like the telephone (refer image)
If you want to enjoy the view must go but be prepared for some dirty rooms and average service

Neerajdangi15on 19/07/2017 22:31An excellent hotel of its kind. If somebody really really want to enjoy something different, then it's jaisamand resort. It's surrounded by jaisamand lake and on a boat you have ho inside to reach the resort. Good rooms. Excellent food. A very good staff. A place to relax in real sense.
