I'm writing this on our last evening. We've spent the last 2 weeks here and had a really relaxing holiday . We last visited 5 years ago and stayed high up near the europa centre . David the Villa's owner has. Even absolutely superb from the original booking to now . He has a husband and wife team who look after the property for him and who are both wonderful and very helpful . Tony will pick you up and drop you off at the airport for €35 each way which is good value . Any issues at all they will happily help sort out for you . The villa itself is on 2 levels , a Kitchen / living room downstairs along with a downstairs bathroom/shower room . Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and a further bathroom/shower room . Out back is s utility area housing a washer and drying facilities. At the front is a lovely patio area for you to eat al fresco and catch the very hot sun rays . The place is close to shops bars/restaurants and supermarkets as well as taxis 24/7. The only downside and this is nothing against David and his lovely place is that the noise from the local bars/clubs can be noisy if in the height of summer when it's warm
And you need the breeze through your shutters . It can stop you from sleeping well . Fans are in the room to help but are quite noisy but this aside the place itself the service from David , Tony and his wife is second to none . I would recommend this villa thoroughly and the price we paid was also very very reasonable .

Great two weeks in the sun

My husband and I stayed at number 68 for two weeks. Found the accommodation comfortable and in a great location the patio area was great with two sun loungers and having the sun all afternoon until 8pm was a bonus. Situated within easy reach of bars and restaurants. Dave the owner was a pleasure to deal with and would like to thank Tony for his help and guidance and for his reliable airport transfer service.

Central location

I rented this from Dave Sentinella through Owners direct. The apartment (68) was well equipped and comfortable and during our stay, we had our family staying for some of the time too so enough space for 6. The location is ideal for the shopping center, taxi's and not far from the beach. There is a pool in the complex which can be busy at weekends but we didn't stay there and instead sat on the terrace at the apartment which has plenty room.Noise from the center could be heard at night if the windows were left open ( we stayed in July). Added bonus was the laundry area at the back to wash and dry clothes. Overall this was good value and Dave always responded to every text, email and phone.

Very late adding my review but i had stayed here about 2007 ish with my Girlfriend. Small friendly hotel, there was an Belgium (I think) guy working there doing quizzes during the day which was good.

The rooms were great, huge massive things with floors and balconys inc drying rooms etc. there was only two of us and a whole large family could of stayed here. was a nice little hotel with a small bar and shop by the pool.

it was located by McD's and the night life but was still not too noisey, we had a great time on this holiday and the walk to the beach was about 10 mins if that. We enjoyed our stay very much

Good position and quiet despite nearby shopping centre

Hi rented this from and owners website believe it is Arizona 68. Great guy Dave Sentinella very helpful and easy to book. Myself 69, Wife 64 and four grandchildren 14 13 10 5.
Booked flights with Jet2.com (Excellent..great leg room) and transfers from LPA to Puerto Rico with Resort Hoppa (again excellent and on time) Despite Dave's best efforts we still arrived at Arizona reception (which isnt open as this is a private block of apartments) and then had to travel with suitcases down about 100 steps to find his apartment and his friend who was meeting us with the keys. The reverse journey to meet our minibus was easy as there is an internal lift from top to bottom but you cant access the lift when you arrive as you dont have a key!!! And even if you had a key you would nt know where to find the apartment!! Also difficult is that the driver didnt speak english and I dont speak spanish and he was running to a timed schedule. Unless you hire a car and go right round the one way road (which the mini bus actually does) to the bottom of this apartment block you are bound to end up at the top dropped off at 'Reception'.
The apartment is compact with the living room downstairs with a toilet, kitchen and washing machine area. Upstairs are two double bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with two singles. There is a sofabed in the downstairs lounge which takes up most of the space when extended. There is only just enough room for a family of six with younger children like us but there would not be enough for 6 adults or older children it was that compact. We had to hunt for the bedding for the sofabed and the sheets didnt fit but we got on with it. Additionally the sofabed mattress and topper had seen better days. The good points of the apartment are its location on the very bottom line of the Arizona and almost at the far end away from the swimming pool. This meant that apart from the traffic in the one way system it was very quiet with triple glazing meaning that none of the noise from the bars and music in the shopping centre interrupted a good nights sleep. The patio with furniture is west facing getting the sun just after lunch until sunset and I liked that. Plenty of chairs and a couple of loungers and tables.
I would not book this apartment again but that is purely because I will not be going back to Puerto Rico. One of the slight downsides was that my wife was not happy with the overall cleanliness of the apartment. Toilet, handbasin and shower gave some concern with hairs and a general need for a deep clean before the next guests arrive. Fortunately we knew from previous experience how to unblock the shower drain!! The price we paid was fine for what we got and given some of the other grotty places we have stayed in the Maspolamas/Puerto Rico area this was definitely one of the better ones. It was an easy stroll to the shopping centre without the need to negoitate difficult steps and also an easy stroll to the beach. We also felt safe.
Prices in the resort if you eat out are average BUT watch the drinks charges. for a coke alone with a meal you will pay £3.50 euros times that by 4 then add on half a litre of sangria and you are up to £20 or so just for a drink before your meal. I paid almost £100 for a meal out...until we switched on to the small Spanish bar right next to the HyperDino at the far north end of the Shopping Centre. Good basic food, cheap with drinks at half the price of the main restaurants. Also easy to buy are cooked chickens at the other end of the shopping centre (south end) with fresh rolls etc from the Hyperdino next door. Highly recommend the breakfasts at the cooked chicken restaurant.
Beware eating lunch in the swimming pool area next to the beach. they will invite you in for free then everything else is pay pay pay !!!
