What People are saying

Cute cottages but very tired inside.

The sheets were immaculate but the carpet needed cleaning, so did the sofa and pillows. Bed pillows were hard and so was the bed. The staff were friendly and the location in the woods was nice. Traffic a bit noisy.

Great place to stay!

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend here this month and were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and clean our cabin was. The owner Amita was very welcoming and made sure we had all we needed. The cabins include all kitchen utensils needed to cook or grill your own meals. Bed is comfortable and clean and the bathroom though small is very functional. We will definitely come back again!

Awesome spot

Spent the weekend here with my boyfriend. Stayed in cabin 10. In my opinion cabins 7-11 offer a more cabin in the hills away from it all location. I was pleasantly surprised. The kitchen was newer than I expected and had everything we needed. The fireplace was amazing. The bed we slept in was huge and comfortable. There was a second room with two beds that we used for clothes but would be perfectly fine for someone with children. The bathroom was small but adequate. The only thing that I didn't like was the heater, it had a mind of its own. We just bought extra wood for the fire. No big deal. We had a great weekend here. It only took maybe 20 minutes to get to the state parks and Santa Cruz. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful, we very much enjoyed our time here and will definitely return for a longer stay.

Rustic

We visited Ben Lomond from 9/25/14 thru 9/29/14 to attend a wedding in the area. We stayed at Jayes. The best word to describe these cabins would be "rustic". The surrounding Redwood trees are magnificent and the outside of the cabins were neatly maintained. However, the inside could have used some attention. The walls were scuffed and scraped and a dresser drawer was broken. The entire cabin could use a fresh coat of paint. We got fresh towels on our first night and not again until our last night. The office was locked and closed more than it was open. The room rate was approximately $460.00 for four nights. Not really a bargain.

This place was very relaxing.

We at the last minute found this hotel. They were very kind on the phone and actually had 2 rooms available. The rooms were clean and they were very kind and helpful. The outside was clean as was the inside. Plates, coffee, refrigerator, stove and microwave were working and clean. Very attentive when an extra fan was needed. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.
