What People are saying

Bad service

Valery Fon 25/12/2016 16:06

Overall my experience was not bad. The location is good, between mountains and sea. The view is great. Also you can find small zoo on the territory of the hotel, stuff are really doing good job in taking care of animals in the winter and summer both. All the animals and their cages are clean and healthy. The hotel and all the restaurants it has are luxurious comparing to the rest in Crimea. Also u will find nice swimming pools, clean and big ones. The breakfast meal was ok, not bad food variety and tasty also, but the service wasn't there. Waitress just stand and waiting for the end of the day, all they want is u to finish faster) All the decorations, style and design is cool n trendy. The rooms are very small, we took a standard room. However the service in the hotel is very pooooooor. I will give score of minus even. You do not have shower gel, soap and even water! They give it as complementary only on check in! I had requested service several times and no one even came to us, so basically room service is not available. On the weekend they switch off the landline to call for service. Its clean and fine, but some rust are there.

Average

It is a little far from center but a normal and big hotel.you will have a nice view to city and sea when you are in top floors. Consider the distance of hotel to the center.rooms and accomodation and every thing is average

So much to do for the whole family!

The hotel is nestled in the middle of a park, you are surrounded by mountain, forest and sea views wherever you look. The amenities are amazing. There are 20 restaurants on sight, lots of play and activity areas for kids, entertainment nightly. Private beach access and olympic size pool. Infinity salt water pool overlooking the black sea, sauna, spa, salt cave, and a zoo that is spread out amongst the grounds. You could only stay here for the entire length of your visit and have something to do everyday, but they also have a tourist bureau that offers very affordable excursions. There are hotel taxis ready to take you wherever you need to go, as well. The service was very polite and accommodating. The hotel is very clean, fresh, and comfortable. There is air-conditioning in every room. They also have shuttles that go to and from Simferopol airport (1:30-2 hrs away), which is a great perk. Highly recommend to families with kids, there is a ton to keep them entertained.

Nice big hotel complex

Yalta Intourist is a big hotel resort at the black sea. It has multiple restaurants, a zoo, multiple pools (inclusive an olympic seized pool), 2 saunas (1 outdoor sauna at the pool), a private beach area (but be aware of that it's not a sandy beach)...
The hotel is located outside of Yalta. In case you want to make a trip you have to book a boat trip or you need a taxi etc... At the beach different boat trips are being offered..
In the evening the hotel offers nice shows.
A negative point is that the standard hotel rooms are of lower standard, average at best. The bathrooms are badly soundproofed. But nevertheless sleeping was not a problem. Apart from the rooms the hotel is great and I would come definitely again.
Don't forget that there are only almost Russian-speaking guests in the hotel and also the staff speaks hardly English, only at the reception you will be able to communicate in English ;) So it's highly recommendable to learn at least the basics in Russian before you visit the hotel.

Good, comfortable hotel

I stayed here for four nights as part of a trip to Crimea last year. The hotel will feel familiar to anyone who has traveled around Russia or the former Soviet Union as it is a typical, large hotel with all facilities on site. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were friendly enough, there are a couple of bars which are pleasant and there's quite a good, bustling feel in the lobby in the evenings. One of the best things about this hotel is the outdoor swimming pool, which is heated so you can use it even in the winter. It's not really walking distance to the main pedestrian area of Yalta, but taxis are cheap and plentiful. Definitely recommended if you're planning a trip here.
