What People are saying

Five stars

Don't take any noyice of the cheapskates. This is a well appointed and located hotel yhat whilr dated is comfortable and a quarter of the price of comparable hotels closer to town.
Six night stay. Friendly and polite staff.
I would def stay again.

Less impressive

KamaleshJawaharon 19/06/2017 03:57

To begin with, the rooms are outdated, you feel you were in 80s probably. (And can't be claimed antique too).
The bathrooms, you can literally hear farting and flushing from next room when you were doing your business there. The lights are poorly placed, when you draw shower curtains, you are almost in darkness.
Well the WiFi, works good only if you come out of your room.
Only solace, the front house and waiting staffs. Courteous, polite and friendly.

Best to avoid , very dated property

Location: is not very central The foodies paradise Madina street and dentral Amman are taxi rides away. There is a McDonalds just opposite the hotel. Taxi drivers had a tough time finding the place.

Rooms: Rooms were the worst. Very dated and old. the beds were creaking and gave a backache and sunk like a hole. Carpets in the rooms were stained and required us to wear shoes all the time. Washrooms were stained and had issues with the flush working. Sheets and Towels also were in dire need of replacement.

Service: was the better of the lot. Arrived late one night and they prepped us some dinner which was very welcoming. However, any service cannot make up for the miserable infrastructure in place

Food: In the two days we stayed there, food was repeated and nothing remarkable to remember by

Other services: Wifi service was terrible and at times had to proceed to the lobby for anything to get done.

More con's than pro's

I spent a week in the Jerusalem Hotel, and it was a mixed picture. On the plus side, it's clean (though a little tired), and many of the staff were friendly and helpful - particularly the female staff who seemed to have an instinctive grasp of good service. It's at a fairly convenient location, and is accessible. But there are lots of negatives (for me): the corridors are dark; daily room cleaning was not thorough; getting teabags and coffee was surprisingly hard work; the food at breakfast (hummus etc and salads and cheese) were the recycled for every dinner and breakfast; some reception staff went out of the way to help while others were simply lazy; the printer in the 'business centre' didn't work and wasn't repaired even though I reported it; drinks at the bar were very expensive; the room safe didn't work; and it's next to a busy road so quite noisy. All-in-all, I'd want to look hard at alternatives if I returned; JI is quite inexpensive but ...

Fairly Good Hotel!

The Hotel has excellent connections. The dining was pretty good - good breakfast and good lunch too. The rooms were not very clean and the rest-room was a bit dirty.
Hospitality was good and people ever ready to help with anything.
