This hotel was just so horrible! The room itself, a twin on the 4th floor was pretty bad. It was tiny and over looked directly into other people's rooms. Make sure your curtains are closed.
The room itself was dirty. Other people's hair was on the floor of the bathroom and shower. The drain pipe was blocked with hair and flooded the whole bathroom. The shower had black mold all over the tiles and the shower curtain had pink mold all down on the bottom of it.
The service at reception was horrible. They were really rude and since I was English speaking they made a point to just dismiss our concerns of cleanliness when we brought it up.
The breakfast room is small and you couldn't find a table anywhere, they had a stupid 2 slice toaster which took 5 minutes to toast for 200+ people dining in the room! The Chinese style breakfast options weren't all that nice either. It wasn't impressive.
I also noticed they allowed anyone to come and buy breakfast there and it wasn't expensive for walk ins, so that could explain the complete lack of seating. Standing around until a table became free or simply sitting down at a 12 person table with randoms...
Overall it was terrible! I would not waste your money here!

Our stay was good. The breakfast buffet was vast and our room just fine. The location was really good, the main drag towards the Forbidden City was just around the corner and it was really fun at night especially. Go down some side streets. The hotel had a small convenience store inside and also an ATM. We didn't find any good western restaurants nearby but there were plenty of Chinese options.

This hotel is so near everything you need; tianamen square and forbidden city are within 10mins walking and the subway is 3mins walk away and so easy to use and cheap which will get you everywhere else. Room was a decent size, comfortable and breakfast was good. Staff speak little English but small tourist centre in the lobby was a helpful aid. Would recommend.

Very poor breakfast, room clean, bed comfortable, nice location. Personel - terrible. Nobody speaks english even if you're in the international hotel. Huge problem with getting an invoice eventhough you mailed the about it long time before. Shuttle bus doesn't exist. They asked me to pay for it 200 RNB when I ordered a taxi I paid 100 RNB. I don't recommend.

We stayed at this hotel three nights with excellent experience.
Rooms are clean. Breakfast was ok. Staff was very friendly.
Hotel is located just to many attraction. You can walk about 30 minutes to the Forbiden City and the Temple of Heaven.
5 minutes walk to the famous Qianmen pedestrian street, 15 minutes walk to the Tiananmen Square.
There is supermarket open 24 hours in the hotel. It was very nice stay. Recommended.
